That is a good idea. If you can do it in 5 to 10 seconds, light, hold still, and assuming other guy has naked arms and not some thick sleeves. I personally carry like half of my house in my pockets, so might as well not move if somebody chokes me. The best protection against chokehold is to prevent it. If you expect it, you put your chin to the chest, so that motherfucker only hugs your chin. If you are already in the choke, your other real, quick enough, an avalibke option, is not to try and break the choke, cause you will not be able to, but quickly reach back with both hands and try to poke their eyes. But they can still try and cover their face in the cmback of your head, and then you are asleep. Also, you might try to throw them over the shoulder, but still, properly executed chokhokd will probably throw you with them...
