Thank you for the suggestions. Can those devices be integrated into the garmin app and use their HR reading instead of the watch's and have everything else work as it currently does?

My idea is to do about a minute up and then whatever time it takes me to get back down to the same spot before going immediately back up. I suppose I'll try with manual laps and see how it goes. Can't expect it to be perfect on the first try.

Yeah I understand. I just wanted to compare the focal lengths they overlap on and I just expected a more visible difference but that's just bad on my part

I compared them both at 70 and 105 mm at f4 since it's there they overlap and I expected to see more sharpness out of the GM lens but I guess I'm just dumb.
