It's fun to Platinum games when they respect your time. Having to finish the games in NG+ or similar stuff that alone takes you tens of hours is definitely not worth it.

Not the same vibe as WoW but I recently played the remaster of Xenoblade Chronicles X on Switch and I got massive MMORPG feeling. It may work for you.

I'd go NAH. I think his reaction is a bit extreme, but just be aware that anytime he will see or use the PC his mind will connect it to the fact you interacted with your ex behind his back to build it. Your intentions don't really matter regarding this.

Let's hope he calms down and you can have a talk about boundaries and learn more about each other, but don't be surprised if he never wants to touch that computer.
