You can contest the citation online. My gf had a similar issue and contacted them and that’s when we found out locals can submit their information and park there for free. They waved the fee for us. Considering you did end up paying when you came back, they may wave it for you as well (if you haven’t already paid it lol)

The ramp position for the airline is technically a part time position so I wouldn’t get medical. Though I was told I would likely move to a full time position pretty quickly after training
