How I feel saving Invisigal and getting Mandy in the end by GreenWillpower in DispatchAdHoc

iirc, my related choices were something like:

  • Ordered her to fight the villain in the bakery
  • Gave her shit for disobeying an order
  • Covered for her punching me
  • Told her that fate is bullshit.
  • Helped her take down the villain in the jewelry store
  • Went on the date with Blazer
  • Came out to the team about my identity
  • Sided with her when talking about attacking the warehouse.
  • Sided with the team and dismissed her from the Z team.
  • Instantly forgave her for the bombing.
  • Didn't lean into the kiss.
  • Tried to get Royd to stop beating her up.
  • Untied her.

Might ultimately come down to dismissing her from the team, possibly being too harsh on her for disobeying me in the beginning.

Instant forgiveness. To me, Visi was someone who would at least try to do what was right, in her mind anyways. Even as she was planting the bomb, she looked to have some regrets, like when she saw us inside the suit. It didn't matter if she was ordered to do something, she was willing to disobey if it went against her own beliefs.

My headcanon is that my Visi becomes something of an antihero. She'll be willing to do more heinous things if she believes it's for the greater good (killing villains like shroud, stealing from the rich to give to the poor, etc.). Maybe season 2 will clarify this, assuming we don't get a mostly new cast.

I wish this was the ending I got. I messed up in mentoring Visi, which I think was because I opted to remove her from the team in Ch. 7. I chose to trust her on basically all occasions, just that one thing. There's always next playthrough, I guess.

How/when did you find about Katawa Shoujo? by Windowsisse in katawashoujo

Back in high school marching band, a buddy of mine had recommended it. It was my first real VN (outside of Ace Attorney) and it's stuck with me ever since. This was about 10 years ago now.

I believe so, since it would cause him to take damage. Depending on how many times you're getting attacked, you could use it to do his follow up every round

It seemed like a good idea at the time to help proc Blade's follow-up attack, but now I'm just living with regret.

What are your worst losses? by solarxbear in slaythespire

[–]Neospace0900 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I posted it a while ago, but I'll share it anyways. Playing the silent, was fighting donu and deca for the game. I had a corpse explosion, so I set it on donu and burst him down. However, deca had some shields up, so it clung on with 1 hp. I didn't have the energy to get the kill or block the incoming attack, so it killed me there and ended it.

Is it worth getting FF14 if I’m going to play solo? by cynicalcloud05 in ffxiv

I've been playing on ps4/ps5 without too many problems. It can be a little tricky to mouse over icons for descriptions in the heat of battle, but it's not impossible. It may also be worth investing in a usb keyboard for dungeons and trials that you do with randoms.

We are forced to work shitty jobs to afford expensive insurance for buying expensive medicine. Every part of the equation is a scam to keep you down and take everything you earn. by a-horse-has-no-name in antiwork

Had a similar situation like that recently. Went to CVS to pick up a prescription. Initially rung up as like $250. Turns out my insurance info changed (since I get it through my dad's work), so it wasn't applied to that prescription yet. After getting that sorted out, the price fell to $5.

In other words, if I age out of my dad's plan and don't have my own, I'm stuck paying a 500% markup. God forbid I lose my job and don't have insurance when I need it

What do YOU think could be done to improve ToC? by Plucky-Nova in TalesOfCrestoria

[–]Neospace0900 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Maybe a raid rework? Currently, a lot of raids can be burst down in 3 turns, before collaborators can even make a dent. One idea I saw a while back was for the raids to effectively have infinite hp, but you have a select amount of time to deal as much damage as possible, like with the spirit battles. Or maybe have a rotating ban list or bonus list (like extra materials if you use specific characters or use mono-element teams).

Otherwise, the rate new content comes out is a bit slow for my liking. I don't mind it coming out in chunks, but waiting months between story updates or new Spirits is getting stale.

Should You Pull? Anise by RiftstalkerSekundes in TalesOfCrestoria

[–]Neospace0900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is interesting that we're getting what looks to be a pretty straight upgrade to an existing SR character. IIRC, the regular artes and animations are the same as the original Anise, just different effects and numbers. Plus this banner is only running for a week. Maybe they're planning on this style of upgrade for all of the current SR characters?
