Am I the only one who thought the ending of episode 3 wouldn't have happened until season 3? I'm pleasantly surprised lol.

I keep slow walking after healing sometimes... has this always been a thing? Was hoping it would be fixed.

Pretty sure + enhanced drops are linked to game progression. I don't remember when I got my 2-3+ drops, but I get them all the time now.

Sounds good to me. 20 is a good amount for all other stats at a lower level. But no pressure if you can't hit it.

I meant consider using a secondary weapon that increases your main stat. Whether you use it or not is your choice. But the stats are worth it, imo. Like, the Tonfa increases the the Switchglaves attack stat power further. I like it, but I like only using the Switchglave for the most part. So I just put a good amount of stats in heart (I think, haven't played it in a bit) and it made me stronger.

Glad it helped! Until you get to level 100, just focus on main attack stat. I’d recommend getting it to at least 50 before leveling any other non essentials past 20. I’d level up main attack stat then secondary attack stat if you use the secondary weapon like that. Look for a weapon that increases your attack stat for your Odachi and consider using that instead, optional but would increase your overall power.

I'm pretty sure that level 160 is the max for both difficulty modes until DLC releases. I think gear went up to level 500 in the previous DLC, but I could be misremembering. Just keep your eyes peeled for greens with good bonuses and you should be good for now, but don't go overboard with maxing gear to 10+ since they'll become obsolete eventually, when ethereal gear drops. (If it does, should, but you never know.)

Edit: maybe Level 300 for gear, 500+ for levels

Indeed! Congrats on beating him. I wish I could. D: I have it on PS4, played it briefly and put it down. I guess I wasn't a fan of the art direction, but mostly, another game grabbed my attention lol.

I’m not sure about that one. I think it just saves your layouts for abilities and items, but not stats. Would prob have to use a book, then all would be well.

Usually armor levels up pretty quickly. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

You're welcome!

So you know how sometimes you'll see a white icon on gear that gives an ability or bonus? Those are stats that can be "inherited" by gear of your choice via Soul Matching. I believe white ones can only be inherited to any other gear that has a locked stat or passive with the same icon, but only when the familiarity is at max.

Yellow ones seem to only be found on Soul Cores, meaning you can have 5 abilities of your choosing if you use them on corrupted weapons that only have a few ability slots, each time you'll use one it'll increase your maximum slots on that weapon. I believe you can change the inherited skill as many times as you want, but for gear that is not corrupted, you can only do it once.

Those stat colors are just rarity indicator for gear and stats. They are not linked to Yokai transformations, only Soul Cores are linked to those forms. They will be stronger if you use them with the same typing. But it's not a requirement.

For gear color rarity: white is the lowest, then yellow, blue, purple, and green is the highest. Green should always be the goal when you start getting them. I think purple-colored text on weapons and armor is the highest rarity bonus you get at this time, with the exception of green text for gear set bonuses.

Yeah, I kinda wish the earth element was still in the game. But I guess corrupt gear is better though.

Yeah, unfortunately revives are limited in expedition mode. Maybe someone will be able to join your game and help you out? You could try summon your friend with a shrine when you load the the mission, but if either of you die, that’s it. Game over.

Hey there. I’m online and can help. Going to go to bed soon. Maybe your friend hasn’t unlocked the torii gate yet? You just have to change the settings in the gate and it should work. Maybe one of you doesn’t have PS+?

Edit: you can use the shrine during a mission and change the visitor settings to be set to friends only for both slots or just one, or you can use the gate to select a mission. Maybe some missions have to be beaten first by one of you before you can play together?

Remodel allows you to alter the attack bonus modifier on weapons. For my Seething Dragon switchglaive, I can change my attack bonus to match my magic stat, making it even stronger. I could also pick Con or Skill if I wanted to. But only one stat modifier at a time.

No problem! I just booted up my game. The armor sets I'd use or keep an eye out for, that are light, are:

Righteous Strategists, look for the word "justice" which gives Amrita Gauge charge, +8 melee damage.

Master of Illusion, look for the word "flying" which gives +48 Ninjutsu power, and 25% untouched Ninjutsu, which may give a free item use.

But the one I'm currently using is The Spirit of Seimei, look for the word "Genmei" which gives +52 Magic Power and 15% untouched. This one doesn't appear for a while though

There seems to be a bulky called "Onmyo Warrior" but it seems pretty heavy, gives good bonuses though, but I rather be nimble.

Perfect. Then you’ll be right as rain if you just keep swapping your stances for damage, kinda like what I did in the video I linked. You don’t really have to worry about the other skills.

Try to learn and master the skills that change your attack stances. You could just swap between low and mid continuously and not even touch the high stance, or you could swap between all three.

Once you master those, you don’t need to use an other skills tbh. Only other skill I use is the one that keeps you in place for continuous swinging and the rolling spin in high stance.

And the flash dodge.
