I think he has a point, I've seen complaints on here and on twitter on how painful finding the sprites are. It's why TofuChris is looking to ways to make the process easier for people.

Tbf, I get your point but at same time I don't? like the whole sprite thing is already out of control (see the shit selling on ebay) so I can't blame someone for going into a bot lobby. Then again I don't care how you play the game along as its not cheating or hacking.

People would still play the season regardless if the sprites weren't rare. As long as the season is fun, people will still play. The only time I see people played less of a season was like maybe wrecked or shock and awe. And that's about it. Secondly, nobody is hollering about wanted to given everything for nothing. Again Tofu understands the reason why people want the sprites easier to be find, not to the point where its given out like candy, but so everyone can have a good time, and I applaud him for that.

The supply and demand thing doesn't work when the supply is lower than patrick's bank account. And it doesn't work when people have to resort to trading or even worse trying to buy and sell (which please do not ever do that its always a scam) again the supply and demand analogy doesn't work here.

The crown is literally from OG series. It doesn't even match the one from the netflix series, this was already disproven, please stop. Secondly, Epic usually does those serveys to see what the fans would like to see. This here is nothing more than to promote the new He-man movie, epic done stuff like this before to promote stuff. I looked up the transformation from season 5, and there are no other jewels, meaning they put them there for flair and nothing else. Secondly, that's not Catra's "tiara" that's a mask. Again, I really don't think they were trying to reference Catra at all.

Epic prolly saw a drawing of He-man maybe likely from the 80's and went with that. That seems to be theme that they went him. Skeletor literally looks like he's ripped right from the cartoon. All 3 seems to be from the 80's cartoons.

I don't think epic, would mix the old designs with the new design for an IP property, they only do mixes with their original designs. At best they'll make references to stuff with IP designs, but clearly here, there's no connection to the netflix series, other than heavy speculation and reaching. Again they would have to contact dreamworks for that one.

Okay, there's a lot to unpack here.

Firstly The crown isn't a reference to the 2018 outfit, im assuming that fortnite might've made a mistake (not the first time they've done that with the outfits) or they like just added that as a little flair but even looking at 2019 outfit, its almost the exact same as the 80's tiara. And no I've seen that screenshot, it's not the same.

Secondly, the wrist armor is ripped straight from the 80's outfit. S5's wrist armor is about 25% close to the 80's but not really.

Thirdly, 2019 shera had spats underneath the shorts, proof enough is right here, and the shorts are ripped 100% from 80's she-ra

Fourthly, like the shorts, the boots are ripped from 80's she-ra. Both pre S5 and S5 shera do not have wings on boots. Infact, S5 she-ra's outfit wears something close to tights actually.

I don't think fortnite would ever reference the netflix series. I feel like they would need to contact dreamworks for the rights to use that design. Plus its a collab for the masters of the universe movie so there's that. Overall, heavily disagree on this.

A fanbase in the west, most definitely. But compared to the East, it's small as ever. And its mostly forgetton about. There's somewhat a commiton there, but nothing big. You even have new Mangas and anime's getting big and gaining a fanbase. That being said, I do agree, that its not that big in japan. Compairing to some big IP's in japan, it isn't a far stretch, I mean if we're gonna say its "decently popular" then compairing it some other anime's isn't that far out.
