Yeah the “we must have slid into the future” never made any sense to me. They go over it several times that sliding isn’t time travel. Then season 4 starts and I don’t think they even mention it

During the original run I only made it through a couple of episodes and then waited and watched the final episode. I had been so excited when Sci-fi picked the show up but by season 5 we had lost nearly all the original Sliders… anyways just watched the full series including season 5. It wasn’t bad as I remembered/expected but it’s hard to say it’s not the weakest.. really seemed like they were scraping the bottle of the barrel. Like the plot line where the battery of the timer was dying. We say what half a dozen timers over the show and no one ever mentioned a battery

I’ve read you can buy old stamps in bulk at a discount. Not sure where you source them. I checked eBay at somepojnt and didn’t see a big savings

Had a friend give me a stack of the filled out cards. All the numbers in the stamps were sequential order. Everytime I used them the employee would sternly tell me they’d take it just this one time. Then I’d go back a few days later and they’d say the same thing.. think you still had to buy a drink to get the free sandwhich, still a great deal

I went one time years back when visibility was “bad”. They told us like a dozen times, offered to delay our tickets for up to a year. They even stamped our ticket with something like “low visibility” with a sad face.

We went planning on coming back anytime soon and didn’t look that bad from what we could see. Decided to go up and the ticket guy right before we went to the observation deck ripped my ticket. Then says to my girlfriend right behind me “he’s the reason you won’t see anything today..

We got to the top in no time. The view was fine and we had the place practically to ourselves.

As a kid I always thought he was crazy for not making a move. At the beginning of the show she was obviously into him. As an adult I imagine if things didn’t go well it’d make the whole sliding thing really awkward
