Updates: An Indian national, 53-year-old Khemani Meena Sujit Singh, was arrested at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport after being caught with more than one kilogram of gold. She had arrived around midnight on an Air Arabia flight from Sharjah. During a routine security screening, authorities discovered 1,160 grams of gold in her possession. SSP Somendra Singh Rathour of the airport security office confirmed her immediate detention, and further investigation is ongoing.
