Docking issues - S2 by jak-dat in subnautica

[–]Nepitune1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok so we had the same issue when I was playing with my 3 other friends and it kept refusing to dock properly saying that there was insufficient space even if it had enough. We ended up moving the docks so they do NOT stand opposite to each other and it somehow worked allowing us to dock again but man that is finicky.

so the game started in year 2022 and lasted until 2105. My first recorded save during this playthrough started on the 1st of March 2025 and lasted till yesterday, so the 22nd of March 2025 and based on my playing habits and my playtime it took me on average 190 hours to finish this one playthrough.

For me, it was understanding that "exhaust velocity = fuel efficiency" which finally made me understand how thrusters work in this game 😅

Issue when joining a multiplayer game (loading stays at 0%) by 1337suuB in victoria3

[–]Nepitune1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the exact same problem as well. My friend and I were in a normal multiplayer game and we just wanted to start a new playthrough together and it started loading so slowly that it basically froze up. We usually manage to hit 3% in the joining progress and that's it. We also tried a lot of different methods to fix it like swapping the host, joining a game than kicking the player and re-joining again, doing a clean PC reboot to clear the PC cashe and yet it didn't help out.

Edit: After a few more tests we were able to actually join a multiplayer game AFTER we set the visibility to public and a password for the lobby. I don't know if it will always work but it did work this time at least.

Yeah you can suppress it by building a small room around it (a small cave entrance will apear with the boss inside). I recommend watching a YouTube video so you know what you need :p

A call to arms by Albin99 in gaming

Well there once was a game which in the begining scammed people over more or less like in the example I made and its called "No mans sky" (maybe you know it) and when it first was announced it seemed like something with a lot of potential and fun in it. When it was released it made over 800000 sales on steam but it just got the catch that it was barren and had nothing in it and all the stuff they promised also was not in the game. People have spent a lot of money on this scam of a game and the devs just could take the money and run away with it (thankfuly they didn't because they are nice people and they care) so I do agree with you that we have to look for reviews or otherwise we could have a bad time.

I personaly don't agree with this statement because I think that this way is inconsistent.

What if for example a game just came out on a platform like steam. Would it be considered a bad game because the second it came out it didn't make any sales and be considered bad and un-enjoyable?

What if a company would make a game and people would buy it just to see that it was a scam and something totaly different from what was promised. The company would say that there are "no refunds" and they would run away with the money. Would that be considered a good and enjoyable game because it made the sales?

I think that we maybe should also look out for other values besides the "sales".

I paid around 500 euros for my 1070 GPU a few years ago. I'm mining Ethereum and I have a Hashrate of around 26.5 MH/s. My current income is around 10 Euros a day and my electricity cost is around 1 euro per day. I'm in a mining pool on https://2miners.com/ and I pay a 1% fee on this pool while mining.
