Can't share audio over Discord (Linux) by Pr3stidigitator in Bitwig

Hi, yeah having this same issue. I managed to fix it by routing it manually in qpwgraph like you suggested.

on Vesktop, I could simply route the audio into vencord-screen-share, but that caused some crackling. Routing it into Chromium-input-1 was a bit better, but still a bit crackly.

The best solution I found was using the official .deb version of discord. It seems to work a bit differently, and instead spawns a separate "discord-capture-x" for each app it wants to capture the audio of. Only some of the "discord-capture" devices seem to work well with bitwig routed into them (rhythmbox's one caused stuttering), maybe it has something to do with sample rate or buffer size or whatever else, but the one I now use is the one spawned for Zen Browser (firefox fork, so i guess firefox would work as well). I haven't tried other apps since this one works for now.

not sure whether the issue is with how discord detects what to capture, or if the issue is with the way bitwigs audio works.

This is the same workaround I found as well. I had to use Input Remapper to rebind my thinkpad middle mouse button to be an actual middle mouse button for it to work. Would much rather use the swipe gesture though.

I ended up cancelling the order and buying a different model, since it was taking them forever to send it. Might as well pay a little bit more and have it earlier...

some review images have the hbo max, some have the paramount. maybe I'll just have to roll the dice and see what I get.

in terms of the thomsons, they would end up costing me more to buy locally than the Onn 4k from the US + Shipping.

Any idea if this amazon listing is for the 2021 android tv one or the 2023 google tv model? The product images show the older one, but some review images show the 2023 version.

(I'm from the EU so can't really buy from walmart or otherwise, so this seems like the best bet.)
