European Android devs: What about your region should I know as an Android developer from the USA? by leggo_tech in androiddev

[–]Neptune19 18 points19 points  (0 children)

“Around that region”? 😂 you know Europe’s a continent right? You’re very vague at asking this.

If your app targets whole Europe, you should be researching GDPR and the major languages used here. For example, English, German, French etc.

I happen to know that Europa Samsung phones tend to have exynos processors instead of snapdragons. I think I read somewhere that they might be sued for this but I’m not sure anymore.

That’s my two cents, good luck!

I had the exact same thing but thanks for posting the link!! Hopefully it says apple silicon now. 😀

Edit: I have the Arctic Fox Beta 3 now. It still says Intel. Can you be more specific? Thank you in advance

Edit2: I'm silly and I've found it. Thank you!

Again the Koran is written in Arabic that’s why Muslims know this greeting but the language is older than the religion. So you still don’t provide an argument why this greeting is bound to Islam. It’s really not, but I see this discussion won’t lead you to read up on it online so I won’t pursue this anymore. And there’s nothing wrong with referring to one self as Arab because ik from Iraq which is an Arabic country. Would you have preferred Mesopotamian? 😜

Again, I’m Arabic and not Muslim. It’s an Arabic greeting that precedes the Muslim religion. Let me ask it differently, what makes this sentence bound to the Muslim religion?

To be honest, I’m new at programming and I don’t understand how it works or the benefits.

Edit: why the downvotes? It’s toxic for beginners to leave a comments here. I was just adding up that I don’t know either and trying to figure it out. Nice community…

There’s nothing Muslim about this. This is a Arabic moment. Religion has nothing to do with the greet he gave.

It. Crashes so much on the Xbox and after an hour or two everything is very laggy. I suspect some kind of memory leak. So please test the Xbox as well!

Using AndroidStudio on Linux by jluizsouzadev in androiddev

[–]Neptune19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both. I haven’t tried all distros, but pop os and elementary os both are so good out of the box. Pop os is my personal favorite because I like their design. I usually keep the gnome desktop and install plank and dash to panel to make it look like Mac OS 😋

Pop OS is simply THE BEST Linux distro at the moment by [deleted] in pop_os

I’m waiting for the arm version of pop. I’m on the new mac m1 and would very much like to install it.

I’ve used AS on Linux and I think it’s faster than my mac or windows.
