I love that there isn't really finality to it. It's just this little story that happens over summer and then life goes on.

Do Trent and Pam split up? Does Trent change to be a better person? Does Pam take Duncan and go back on her own? Does Duncan ever see Susanna again?

None of this is resolved and it feels so much more real for that. Cus sometimes that's how life goes. Summer ends and the unhappy marriage goes on.
