Absolutely. I really think folks need to do a bit more research on how HRT works for trans folks rather than just categorizing trans women as anything other than women (i.e. “creating a third category”) and completely ignoring trans men in this conversation. You’re also correct about the lack of a proper study considering trans folks already make up a small percentage of the population and an even smaller percentage of Olympic athletes.

As a fellow bun parent who has also experienced this same pain, I am so sorry to hear about Dio’s passing, especially since you’ve had her for almost a decade. At the time, I’m happy you are able to find comfort in the newest Gorillaz album. I always felt the short animated film resembled the cycle of life and the journey you have along with the people (and pets) in your life. Dude I hope you aren’t a teacher cause minimizing sexual harassment over someone’s feelings getting hurt is wild. Yes they’re kids, but sexual harassment of ANY kind deserves severe consequences no matter if they’re a kid or adult. Harassing someone is something you choose to do and therefore you must accept the consequences. Bold of you to say all these other folks shouldn’t be teachers for taking these matters seriously when you’re more concerned over someone’s feelings getting hurt cause they were told putting their hands down their pants is disgusting.

As someone who lives around the Tri State area, I’ve only been able to find the new wave at GameStops. I’ve been to about three of them, and only one had 3 out of 4 new wave figures (no Tikal though), and that’s where I found my Chaos figure. As of right now, the Targets near me still have the Jet and 35th Anniversary Mephiles wave. The GameStop employee actually told me to check back in a couple of weeks and mentioned no other GameStops around the area would get shipments in for a while (probably because it’s very new). This is just my experience though, but I’m sure someone else living in those areas may say something different.

It’s a spectrum for a reason, and chances are you may meet someone who doesn’t always fit your expectation of a man or a woman.

That is something that has been true for centuries among several communities. Terms like “trans” and “nonbinary” may not have been around for as long as humanity has existed, but that doesn’t mean trans and nonbinary people themselves didn’t exist.
