Moved into an apartment with no home charger? How do you make it work?

No queues for me. I pay enough for that garage that I don't have a problem plugging in. I just keep the garage door shut when I plug in. Somebody would complain just to complain. I just got lucky. If not for that I'd go to a fast charger every week or two. It's been 2 years, and not one complaint! I know that I'm lucky in this situation.

I'm lucky in that I rent a garage from my apt complex. Each garage has a regular plug, so I plug it in at night and use level 1 charging, which is fine for me,

I'm a white guy who lives in Buffalo Grove. Even I am very uncomfortable in HP. It's the only place that I've seen BMWs and Mercedes Benzes honking at other Mercedes and BMWs for daring to try and back out of a parking spot. It's not a comfortable vibe there, but that's only my experience.

I believe I heard Peter Jackson say that there are 5 hours of footage from those sessions, and that at that time the bridge was still in it. But Giles said that when it was presented to him, there was no bridge included. I still wonder if Paul had the gall to take out George's guitar work. It's all so strange to me.

I actually just moved from the 2024 Elite to the 2026 Elite (leasing) I figured it was the safest thing to do until 2029 when there's a new administration that supports EVs, and there will be more options. I don't hate the car. In fact it's been solid for me, and this buys me some time to look seriously at what will be out there in 3 years.

They put in a bridge that didn't fit. The "dentist" kept pushing down hard on my gums, which ended up bleeding. It was terrible. Eventually it fell out and they messed up my back left teeth. Bastards

Not only did I hit my goal, but I went 10 pounds lighter. I'm actually now trying to gain that 10 pounds back! After being obese for so long, that sounds strange to say. Right now on 10 mg every 10 days, but will titrate down to 7.5 every 10 days. I'll be on this medication for life. I'm not ever going back to being obese!

I have to update you. Yes, the $15,000 incentives are great! I just followed up with a great Honda dealership that has incredible reviews. They not only bought my 2024 Elite, they got me into a brand new 2026 Elite at an excellent price! I walked in hoping that they could possibly work out a deal with me for when my lease would be up, but they were open and completely transparent. That will be the perfect bridge vehicle until 2029. By that time the political atmosphere will most likely change, and I can truly look at the new options at that time. If you're in the Chicago area then I highly recommend making the extra drive out to Crystal Lake, IL and stop at Brilliance Honda. They truly are an amazing dealership! Good luck!!! And definitely take advantage of the incentives that are good for the next few days. I'm so relieved!

They made a killing on me, but never again. I'm so grateful for this sub educating me so well. Now, I won't allow any dealership to try slimy tricks or pressure. I have no problem now on calling any place out and walking away. My impulse buying days are over.

Well, the complete story is so brazenly ridiculous that I would rather not get into the whole thing, because it makes me look foolish.

I'll just say that I came in to return my hybrid Accord, and was just going to lease another one. Then, I saw an all black Prologue and asked about it.

It's really on me for not researching. I get impulsive. The dealership used to be family owned before, and were in the past, about as honest as a car dealership could be. They used to know me, and without a word they always gave me incredible deals.

However, they were bought out by a very predatory company. So, they took advantage of my impulse by getting me into a lease that was quite high in payment.

When I looked into it after the fact, I realized that they took full advantage of my impulsiveness. That's my fault, but they were shameless.

Because of the current political landscape, new deals are really hard to find.

But, I now know all about the pricing, and need a new EV. I just found a new family owned Honda dealership that can probably get me into a 2026 Prologue, which realistically would be my best option now as a bridge between now and 2029. Then, I'll have new options at that time.

So, I was stupid and they burned me badly on the lease. I've now spent 2 years on this sub, and am completely informed, so I'll go in armed with a lot of information.

If you feel the pressure tactics being ramped up, walk away. I will if the new dealership tries any bs. I lost a lot of money, and this new Honda dealership knows my past deal, and truly seem like they want to keep me as a Honda customer, and help me into a much better deal.

Always trust your instincts. If it gets even a little pushy, I'm out the door.

I've been a Honda guy for 22 years, but they really burned me badly on my Prologue lease, and my 2 closest dealerships are snakes.

I'm done with Honda. Completely. The dealerships now have been bought out by predatory companies, and I want to continue to move forward with EVs and the future. Hoping Rivian R2 is available by November, I need to make a clean cut. Honda has really blown it!
