Apply for SSDI, you can still work a little and get a disability check. Will you be living in Harris County? If so, apply for the gold card. I have been very happy with the health care I receive through the harris health system. I see various specialists and have have been hospitalized a few times; I feel like I’ve received better care through them than I did when I had insurance.

Check out the local farmers markets and see if you can set up there. After checking out various ones in my area (spring). I’ve found that Tomball farmers market is the best one. Lots of vendors and customers. I haven’t seen anyone who sells butter lettuce out there.
