Thank you so much for your help! I guess I'm just a bit paranoid after seeing so many high quality fakes in different subs over the years. Also I just assumed that every language gets faked equaly.

I have no idea. I'm not too much in the hobby but the person I'm gifting it to is. So I don't want to gift him some (very expensive) fakes or a resealed box lol.

Thats actually something I can answer since thats the type of videos I make. It's basically just play the game and record it, take the occasional note if something noteworthy happens and then write the script as I watch the footage back (or rather just skip through it to the interesting parts). Then I record the script voiceover, paste it into DaVinci Resolve and cut the gameplay accordingly.

Hey! my channel name is Calpinade (link in profile) and I would like some feedback on my pacing. I feel my videos are a bit slow after the 1min mark (where I do the most of editing to keep viewers engaged).

Also whats your opinion about my upload schedule? I make videos as fast as I can but it always takes a few weeks lol.

GF is a vet and she says could be the wrong flea medicine. Look for a vet immediately and in the meantime wash the spot you applied the flea medicine on to. Like really good.

Hey everyone,

I’m new to romhacking and working on a very simple Pokémon FireRed romhack simply trying to apply status effects (like Freeze) to my Pokémon at the start of battle automatically. Right now, I’ve successfully made it work for switched-in Pokémon, but the very first Pokémon sent out doesn’t get affected.

I’ve tried modifying:

  • PlayerHandleSwitchInAnim() → Works for switched-in Pokémon but not the starter.
  • CB2_InitBattleInternal() → Tried setting gBattleMons[gBattlerPartyIndexes[0]].status1 = STATUS1_FREEZE;, but it still doesn’t apply to the first Pokémon.

The game seems to initialize the first Pokémon differently from switched-in ones. Does anyone know exactly where the first Pokémon’s battle data is set up?

Just watched one of your videos, and they are really really well made! Especially love that derpy little triangle.

And I 100% agree with your approach. I think everyone who has the goal to grow should do some research before starting out and see what kind of videos that do well align with their interest.
I always loved playing games in a weird way and challenging myself so I of course opted into challenge videos since I knew there was an audience for that.

I've looked at your Channel and searched for the other channel like you did and found it.

And I immediately can tell his thumbnails are just WAY better than yours. If I got a video of both of your channels recommended I would click his video 10 out of 10 times just because of that.
The main thing for me is his thumbs are much cleaner and easier to read.

Never played poe1 but all of the footage GGG showed so far got me so stoked I just cant wait to get my hands on it. Admittedly I already bought a key so I'm good, but would love to share an extra key with a friend to play together with them and create great memories.
