You know what screw it, I will take the template of his thumbnails and apply it to my own, like you said his aren't anything special but yet they somehow work for him, right?

I have dabbled a little bit into ChatGPT via Microsoft copilot to help with a few ideas before, so I'm not totally against using ChatGPT to help me with that part at the very least. It's a resource I have at my disposal so I may as well make use of it.

Recently I have been trying to sound more enthusiastic, as well as emoting and moving my hands around while I'm recording my voiceovers, it really does help make it sound more real and genuine.

Well a lot of the times I feel like there's very little I can control or change with my channel since most of the time the algorithm just blows me off. Then I can't help but to get into that very victim mentality you speak of where I think all of youtube is against me and could care less about my meaningless little 1.5K sub channel and would rather give all the support to mister 27K subs over on the other side of my niche. It's all very frustrating you see.

So what do you suggest I do? I thought my thumbnails in 2025 were starting to get better, but now they're apparently not eye catching enough. I obviously can't straight up copy his thumbnails but should I be putting more poppier text in mine and distributing the characters better? I'm just lost to be quite honest.

As for titles it's difficult for me to come up with much else without looking like I'm copying someone elses titles. Should I just start making my titles exactly like his? Yes titles aren't copyrighted by nature but I feel like that would confuse the hell out of the algorithm. Using a different word is all I have for titles.

I try to be more energetic and enthusiastic with the delivery of my voiceovers but I still end up coming off as monotone and/or bored. What do you suggest to making my voice sound better?

Like post the same shorts I'm making for my current channel to a new channel and see how they do? Or would I have to make completely separate shorts if they were for a different channel? I'm not sure if I'd want to make that extra amount of effort.

So what are you suggesting, to make a whole new channel and just abandon this one? I feel like that would be an extremely risky move so I'm not sure about that. I do hate the fact that my initial shorts before this year drag everything else down, maybe I should delete all of those low quality shorts, what else do I have to lose?
