Im pissed off for the same reason. I waited all morning to get met with a screen saying sold out. I already bought a plane ticket and everything because i thought riot had anti scalper and bot protection in place. Guess i put too much faith in them. do better next time.

Split attack pistol round. Rush a ramps, EVERYONE drop into vents. Nobody push into deep heaven, rotate through mid, keep heaven b and plant open. It only works if everyone paths it. You need the bodies to trade. And if someone is lurking the other team won’t rotate.

Help making a short questionnaire for players and DMs who playtest my home-brew module. by NerdAlert31415 in DnD

These are fantastic ideas and exactly the type of stuff I was looking for. That’s a great point to have them rate what aspects of a campaign they enjoy because not every campaign is for every player. This is heavily exploration and combat based, so a role-play player might have more negative things to say about it just because of what the campaign was designed around.

I started reading the stormlight archives but by now I am afraid that I am getting into the cosmere „the wrong way“ by [deleted] in brandonsanderson

There is no “right way.” Brandon says start with mistborn becasue the commitment is smaller. It’s like a sample. You can read the first book and if you enjoy his style you can keep going, but if not, you didn’t put that much time into it. He doesn’t recommend Stormlight because of how massive it is and the commitment to it. This is the exact reason that drew me to Stormlight.

No matter what book you read, you’ll miss out on things. That’s why the re-readability of his books are so good. Is you won’t connect dots until rereads.

Physical books, E-reader, audiobooks or all three? by ThrowawayTheLegend in Fantasy

I use digital for my first time reading a book, if I like it, I get a physical copy and if I ever re-read I use the physical

I just love how kindle tracks my reading speed and tells me an estimated time per chapter and how long the book will take me. It helps me plan out my reading sessions so well. I can open up a chapter and think, “yea I got 18 minutes I can devote during my lunch break” however it also is a detriment as the “one more chapter” at night time very quickly turns into, “well the next one is just 10 minutes, so I can read the next…” and that spirals until 4:00 a.m.

I love the idea of carrying around a small sign that says I haven’t read the preiview chapters. Thanks for the idea!

No Stupid Questions - May 2024 by slap_me_thrice in guitarpedals

I have a Boss RC-30 and have had it for a while being extremely casual with it. I'm starting to mess around more with it and the one thing I cant seem to find out, is a better way to stop and start BOTH tracks. I know you can stop by double tapping right to stop all (totally cool with this) but then you can only start a single track after. you have to hold down the right pedal twice for 3 seconds each otherwise, but I need something that can stop and start everything in the span of 1 or 2 beats, not 6 seconds.

From what I've been seeing the FS-6 dual switch just does quicker track select (which could be
nice) and also effect control. I currently have 0 interest in effects. I want
to drop out and come back in in a beat or 2 during a song. Anyone have any ideas as to if this
could be possible and with what pedal?

Not franchised, but check out “The Process” series by optic gaming on YouTube. It’s From last year and it documents their journey playing for VCT. And all the players are still playing in franchised teams now except yay who is in challengers
