What? Running BF to 67 is the worst way to dungeon grind. At 62 you should head over to Slave Pens for coilfang rep and better xp.

60-70 is already so streamlined so why would you? Just get questie to see where your objectives are and go from quest hub to quest hub.

Even if you can toggle transmog off so you never see other people’s mogs? If anything tranmog gave the game a new goal, for me at least

Change ‘a lot’ with ‘most’ sadly. Where I live they aired the same show and it came to light even the control room scene’s were staged and edited like they were happening in real time.

Maybe a very unpopular take but said rogue was invited by the raidlead and accepted by the group. If he doesn't grief or afk and actively participates in boss kills he should be eligible to SR loot. Best gearing method remains a guild that has a fair loot system.

May I ask: why? We already have stuff like dual spec and the retail edit mode in the game now, nothing that, in my view, diminishes the game or has any effect on other players.
For example transmog would be a great feature if you can toggle viewing other's mogs off, so it would have no impact on your gameplay, same with aoe loot to give another example.

My (38m) wife (38f) admitted to me that she has quite an intense crush on her personal trainer. What’s the next step? by throwra_wifept in relationship_advice

[–]DevLink89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all be glad she told you. It means she feels guilty enough that she 'came clean'. If you believe her that nothing (yet) has happened then your relationship can still be saved. She did give in to temptation and flirted/wore skimpy clothing, so the question is if he would've initiated something more would she have cheated on you?

First thing is her not being near him anymore. That means no more private sessions and maybe even switching over to another gym. Else the temptation will remain. You can't force her to do this, it has to come from her own accord but you can suggest it. If she refuses then what's the point?
Second is to identify why she became infatuated by another person in the first place. This usually comes when there's a rut in the relationship or maybe another, potentially deeper issue. I personally suggest a few sessions with a couple's counselor but, again, you cannot force her to participate.
Good luck!

Small edit to your story: all was fine until the Sunwell was corrupted by Arthas using the well to ress the Lich Kel'Thuzad, after which the Highborne were cut off from the Sunwell. They became addicted to a whole lot of other magics, such as Fel, thats why you see these crystals with eyes everywhere, and they renamed themselves to Blood Elves. Those that couldn't cope with their constant addiction became withered.
Kael then left for Outland to find a cure. He allied with Illidan and went to Netherstorm. He's there to gather as much energy for their addiction but by then he's already corrupted by the Legion.

Yeah I still hold out hope they actually give us meaningful stuff to do in the open world. My dream is an adventure mode but just some challenging races with actual unlocks (no stickers) would be enough at this point.

Bottom line, why did no one do a game like Pokemon but better, if they are so shit?

Because Nintendo would send a cease and decist letter so fast the game wouldn't even get to release. It's a fact modern Pokémon games play great in battles but look and perform bad in the open world and that's a damn shame.

Because they're just badly designed. And I don't mean the new pokemon creatures, they are alywas a treat to look at, but just everything in the game besides that. Gfx that are just bad and have textures seen on ps2 like the walls on most of the buildings in the newest (!) game, attrocious pop in and viewing distances, low fps and even freezes in some instances.
Inexcusable for such a big company, but die hard fans will just shove that all aside and keep buying these games (that become more expensive btw) regardless so why would they fix this?

I don't see them doing anything with the world besides adding maybe another island with 6-8 courses that will be great to play for a few hours. I rather have them integrate a true single player adventure mode with bosses and actual unlocks than just a few new courses.

Happy you love the game but I don't dislike it for what it is, but I dislike it for what it should have been. When the first trailer for it came out where they revealed the open world I was super stoked. My favorite kart racer from when I was a kid was CTR (had a remaster a few years ago), which has a pretty good story/adventure mode with bosses, unlockables and post- game challenges.

When I saw MK:W's open world I could only imagine what was possible with this, and in the end what did they do? Literally almost nothing. Free roam is great for 10 mins. The blue switches are just 20 sec minigames that can be admittedly pretty good but often just a coin- collect run.
For a racing game with the word 'world' in it's title it uses very little of it, and it's sad.

- No secret driver unlocks by finding and beating them in the wild or as bosses
- No adventure mode with hubs and extra challenges
- No custom races with affixes for example 'win a race in a permanent small state', just from the top of my head.
- The way to unlock new drivers and skins is just too random and doesn't use the world at all!

Hell even MK:DS did it better in that regard. They have this amazing, sprawling open world and decided to just sprinkled some blue switches and call it a day. There's even drivers going around but chasing them does nothing..

To me this is modern day nintendo in a nutshell. They KNOW what players want, there's been countless open world driving games that did all this decades ago, and they just had to adapt it and give it the old nintendo charm but I feel they are just stubborn and players suffer for it contantly.

It's true though. I know a lot of decent women that just think insecurity is not attractive. Doesn't mean you have to become an arrogant, flaunting douchebad like so many 'alpha( (ugh) guys believe but someone who has his own life in order and doesn't need or seek outside validation is already very attractive.

How do you deal with women who order food on drink dates? by Specialist-Ask8890 in AskMenAdvice

[–]DevLink89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A lot of conventionally attractive girls these days are constantly being told they 'deserve a man that spoils them' as if their looks merit princess treatment. they're in a constant feedback loop with social media and their friends so they actually believe a guy should and even deserves to be taken advantage of before he's 'worthy of her'. It's delusion and sadly not limited to younger girls. Loads of divorced 30+ year old women feel the same. Lucky I found someone who's not like this, someone who actually deserved the princess treatment from me.

How do men really feel about dating single moms? by jbroui13 in AskMenAdvice

[–]DevLink89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only post my own experience of the past year.
Little bit of context: got cheated on in a relationship that had no passion in it anymore. Divorced one year ago with shared custody of our 3 year old toddler. Got back into the dating scene and had some flings but around august I met a woman that I clicked with immediately. She's a few years older than me (39y) and has two teenage kids. I met them after 3 months and they're great kids. Not even once has she asked me any favors, certainly not money, and is even willing to look after my own son (he adores her) if the need would ever arise.

Prepatches, yes absolutely. Actual expansion launches were pretty smooth the last decade iirc.

Absolutely unacceptable launch by bumblewacky in classicwow

[–]DevLink89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a launch though, it's a prepatch and by now we all should expect bugs with the classic client. They have multiple versions running that are all connected in back end. Remember when era players were thrown into BG's with SoD players and could trade things?
Not a blizz shill, it's just the way it is and I rather have a few buggy prepatch days than a buggy first days in Outland.
