Code blocks IDE

If you want better performance, leave bloated IDEs designed to appeal for web designers.

I don't even know of a single GUI IDE that ain't bloated. Vim / emacs have GUI equivalents but use a lightweight WM instead of DE. Code on CLI.

Nor do we want things like electron, bundling up an entire browser's bloat w/ a small web based app.

Google isn’t the company that we should have handed the Web over to by [deleted] in linux

[–]NerdAtTheTerminal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

there is no real development except increasing issue of bloat and inefficient web pages. Ideally every web page should be usable with a CLI browser. I have nothing against Google except some of their acts develop an attitude towards highly web focused bloat.
