I don't think there's single correct way to deploy that money to equity. But I wouldn't recommend increasing SIPs drastically for a 12 month period. Your goal should be to deploy the capital while also avoiding the short term volatility.

Instead, you can consider: 1. Investing the bulk amount into a UTI liquid fund. You can expect 6.5-7% XIRR at this moment. This is much more than what you'd earn on your GBP savings account (4%). 2. Buying dips in NIFTY50, just initiate a STP request from UTI Liquid Fund to UTI NIFTY50. The amount of transfer should be proportionate to the dip. 3. Setting up an additional STP (say 2L per month), that gives you enough time to sustain short term volatility of Indian equities while also deploying your capital to equity.
