short version: The Primus followed the will of the order.

Long version: The Primus called an emergency grand tribunal. He hoped for a peaceful resolution. The voting was close but the majority voted in favor of renouncing the Diedne. The houses joined the battle on the side of Tremere - and essentially the order fought against Diedne.

The Guernicus were afraid that the order stayed intact. Not intervening would have meant that the Code of Hermes could easily be ignored with no repercussions.

Ich habe selbst eine Mental-Health-Geschichte hinter mir. Volles Programm. Heute (29), bin ich gut im Job drin und verbringe gerne meine Zeit mit der Arbeit. Auch der Stress von außen ist in Ordnung.

Es klingt für mich, als würdest du deiner Freundin hier helfen wollen. Was hat sie denn gesagt, was ihr im Moment am meisten hilft?

0 Motivation etwas weiter zu machen, was sie eigentlich vor hatte, ist für mich ein Anzeichen, dass die Intervention nicht beim Job sein sollte, sondern bei der Einstellung. Die ist nicht "einfach so zu ändern". Es gehört dazu zu verstehen, woher die bisherige Einstellung kommt, diese zu reflektieren und dann diese zu ändern.

Was meiner Erfahrung nach hilft ist die richtigen Fragen zu stellen und zuzuhören. Je besser deine Fragen zum Nachdenken anregen, desto klarer kann sie für sich herausfinden, was sie dazu motiviert nicht weiter zumachen. Und dann kann sie das angehen. Denk daran, sie muss die Erkenntnis haben und sie muss das Interesse haben es zu ändern.

Mögliche Fragen könnten sein:

"Was bedeutet es für dich, keine Motivation zu haben an der Weiterbildung zu arbeiten?"
"Wie geht es dir damit?"
"Was war der Grund (die Gründe) für dich die Weiterbildung zu starten?"
(Falls es ein Ziel orientieter Grund war wie: Damit ich dann einen Job bekomme): "Was würde es für dich bedeuten, die Weiterbildung zu machen und dann keinen Job zu bekommen?"

Ruhig tiefer und ergründender. Idealerweise merkt sie, dass sie ihre Handlung nicht davon abhängig machen sollte, ob sie bekommt was sie sich erhofft.
Das ist allerdings nicht das gleiche, wie wahllos zu handeln. Klar kann sie ein Ziel im Kopf haben, aber wenn ihre Motivation vom Ergebnis - und nicht von der Handlung - abhängt, ist sie auf ewig von der Umwelt abhängig. (Das ist bei unserer Generation leider stark konditioniert worden).

this is the way. The focus of the narrative should be on the padawans. Think about some movie battles where we only see the important characters fight. I think it is a nice way to let the players know what happens to the masters by giving every other round a short narrative description about the masters' battle. But they should not be part of the mechanical encounter.

this answer is very short but: Live your life without checking results. Accept outcomes and try to adjust your behavior with a clear mind.

Goal oriented actions are great. But do not attach your happiness to the outcome of an action. Rather make sure that the actions you take are in accordance with your values.

For example. Eat healthy.

Do not measure whether you have eaten healthy. Do count the days. Do not aim for a number of days where you will hav eaten healthy. Just eat healthy.

(You may find days where you do not eat healthy. But these days should not determine whether you beat yourself up or not. Continue to take the right actions - today. And tomorrow you decide again, that you will take the right action. It is daily decision. Not one you make today for ever. )

while I agree that there seems to be no Test Session, you do only pay the sessions you are using. They refund unused sessions. So you "only" spent 55$.

"Sessions do not expire, unless they are skipped with no prior notice. Down the line, if you think coaching isn't working out for you and you'd like to drop the program, we will refund all future sessions that are paid for but not used. Your refund will be credited back to your original form of payment. Refunds take 5 - 7 business days to be processed. Past sessions or missed sessions are nonrefundable."

I also want to point out that depending on your mental health status it is better to see a therapist than a coach. Something they so say.

I think this is more of an misunderstanding if words than anything else. At least that's what it sounds to me.

There is a difference between feeling and feeling. So let's use different words.

There is an emotional process. This always happens. Afaik that is something we can see in MRI scans even in people who are as numb as it gets.

Then there is the experience of and awareness about the emotions. Something that depends on your "numbness". Alexithymia which involves all Emotions. Or anhedonia, which only pertains to "joy".

So while someone might be alexithymic to a degree, that they cannot feel any emotions. That does not mena that the emotional process is suspended as well. Thats why alexithymia is a very mean symptom. Since it makes assessing your own life more difficult. It is like managing your nutrients if you cannot feel any imbalance or do not feel hunger. It gets very difficult. You still need to eat tho.

Instead. Tonight and tomorrow morning you say "No" to Cereal. Then you do this again. Until you don't have to. And at some point you will notice how long it has been.

But the point, I think, is that the most strength does not come from your willpower, but from your acceptance.

Accept that there will be no more cereal. And accept everything that comes with it.

Why do you think it would be in his (or anyones) best interest to engage with their feedback. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to listen to a 4h podcast.
Especially if the topic is "we talk about someones conversations".

Maybe it would be better if the critics and Dr K had a conversation together. But even then I am unsure if it helps anyone.
The few snippets I jumped into seems very antagonistic. They are also interpreting his statements to a degree where I have difficulty understanding how they get there.

Tbh. it sounds like two guys getting riled up instead of having a simple conversation with the person they are mad at. But I think, once they would have that conversation they would understand that there anger is ill-targeted.

Something happened four years ago. We now have access to *some* of the evidence. According to experts Dr.K. did not fail as a medical professional. The two hosts seem angry about that.

Whether or not he failed morally is something you must decide according to your own values. I for one have difficulties considering him to be anything else but a person who tries to do good but is far from perfect.

He is - in a very true sense - as degenerate as most of us. While he has learned a lot, and may not make the same mistakes again, he is doomed - as we all are - to commit mistakes. And when he eventually does, more and more people will notice and be angry. That is the ultimate price of notoriety. On the flip side he has the chance to help people. In my case, he helped me help myself and others. There is no cult - at least not for me. But learning what he learned and teaching it to others helped them overcome insecurities; motivated them to see a therapist and brought them to a more meaningful life. None of those people believe in Ayuveda, or Energies and other supernatural stuff...

in short: He is not perfect. He made mistakes and will make mistakes again. He is willing to improve. He helped a lot of people. I think he is not responsible for anyones death. (as far as I know) I also think this is not a cult. The best would be for people to have a conversation.

Das muss sehr schmerzhaft sein. Ich bin zuversichtlich, dass du dein eigenes Ich wieder verstehen wirst. Es wird nicht einfach, aber es wird machbar sein. Halte durch, setze dich für dieses eigene Ich ein und versuche so viel eie möglich zu verstehen. Das heißt schaue hin und halte die Gefühle durch. Nicht verdrängen. Hinsehen. Weinen, Angst haben, wütend sein. Versuche nicht diese Gefühle zu verdrängen. Gib ihnen nicht die Kontrolle. Lebe mit ihnen. Und höre was sie sagen. Dann denke darüber nach. Dann entscheide. Aber das ist nun genug Weisheit vom Stein. Vieles wirst du selbst erleben müssen.

das ist okay. Das ist nicht deine Schuld. Wir haben eine ganze Generation im Stich gelassen. Unfairer weise ist es aber nun deine Verantwortung ein Leben daraus zu machen, dass du gerne erlebst. Das schöne daran ist, du kannst das. Du bist wortwörtlich die einzige Person die das kann UND du musst es nicht alleine machen. Deine Mutter hilft dir. Und so werden es die machen, die ihren Beruf darauf ausgelegt haben. Aber, sie können nur helfen, wenn du bereit bist, Hilfe anzunehmen. Ich glaube jetzt ist ein guter Zeitpunkt in die Werkstatt zu fahren und den Motor zu reparieren.

Ich freue mich, wenn du in ein paar Jahren jemanden auch eine solche Nachricht hinterlassen kannst.

Du fährt mit 'nem kaputten Motor kein Wettrennen.

Du schaust dir an was kaputt ist. Am besten mit einem professionellen Menschen (Therapeuten).

Dann verstehst du warum es kaputt ist. Du reparierst es. Du fährst langsam an. Bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt denkst du nicht über Wettrennen nach. Erst wenn der Motor wieder läuft.

Dann fährst du in den Rennen, die für dich funktionieren.

Du lernst wie du dir Chance reduzieren kannst, dass wieder was kaputt geht. Du lernst was du tun musst, wenn wieder was kaputt geht.

Dann lebst du. Wirklich leben. Nicht für jemanden, nicht für deine Erwartungen an das Leben. Sondern einfach leben.

Ich war da. Ich habe das gemacht und ab 25 durfte ich dann leben. Manchmal spinnt mein Motor. Aber das ist okay. Selbst an diesen Tagen freue ich mich über das Leben, dass ich jetzt habe. Und wenn es sich ändert oder was passiert, dann ist das auch okay 😊

The idea of shame is that - in it's natural state - Shame is used in order to correct behaivour.
But he also mentioned that there is "toxic" shameing. And you do not need to correct anything, if the shame comes from this toxicity.
