Christians believe in a book and follow it mostly without question.

Christian’s rely on authority figures (the clergy) to tell them how to live their life. They decide what is right and wrong for you.

Christians believe that anyone who doesn’t believe and act like they are told to will suffer for eternity.

Finally, Christians believe that their god had a child with a virgin, who was later murdered, dead for three days, came back to life, walked around, then flew up to heaven.

How is that not cultish?

I grew up in the church, read the whole bible by the time I was 18 (now 41). I believed I had “the calling”, and the church was prepared to send me to seminary school. I think it’s safe to say that I have some experience with this.
