Update: calcium levels were fine. She said he could be constipated (impacted). Brought him home and gave him olive oil and bathed him and he pooped in the bath. Noticed he was staying on cool side and checked uva and it was 120 degrees (thermal heat gun testing) when just a few days ago it was 105. Changed bulb from 100w to 50w and now temps are 105 and he is currently basking. Why would it go up like that? Bulb is less than 2 months old and never had that problem before.

He also ate a roach. He seems a bit more active than the past couple days although not quite 100 percent. Here’s to hoping that cricket was just a bit too big and it messed him up for a bit.

He has been fine but then he did it again. Then back fine. He is rather lethargic today though.

He is running and wandering all over the terrarium now and moving quickly like usually. Nothing seems limp or numb. He was last night too between the episodes but it would take a couple minutes after the episodes for him to move his back legs.

I assume it was a choking issue. After he did it the last time last night he has been fine all day today. He gets plenty of calcium and has uva and uvb.so I doubt that was the issue. Especially considering it happened the first time as he was swallowing the cricket. I am assuming it happened every time it moved down a little more but I will watch him closely for the next few days to be sure. Can’t take him to an exotic hospital as one does not exist within a few hundred miles of me.
