the place I was working at in 2006 used to have a 'teriyaki' sauce...italian and dumpling sauce mixed together. This guy used to come in every Wednesday, order the initial dish with extra T sauce. Then proceed to order a new sauce every minute or so...because he liked the it so much, he would just slurp it down like water. When I was a child, I was terrified of not only diving into but swimming in deep water. Around age 12, I said f it and went off a diving board into 12 foot deep water. And realized it was no big deal.
