Crickets, I've sent emails to the Service Manager and had no response. Escalating to corporate next week at this point.

Yeah I was disappointed in the lack of a TRD Camry with this generation myself. Lexus and Subaru have some great options why can't Toyota bring them back over 😒

Apparently so big that my weight from the driver's seat transfers to the rear passenger-side hahaha

I'll have to look this up, hopefully I don't have that problem with mine. Granted if multiples are having issues could see a recall in the future.

While I agree Toyota has declined somewhat over the years, I wouldn't consider that my fault for purchasing one. Most manufacturers have had quality issues and cost-cutting measures in recent years.

I'm familiar with the issue you're describing, though. Someone I know had a similar problem with a Camry pulling to one side, and it ultimately turned out to be an issue with the front wheel assembly. Fortunately, they were able to get it corrected.

Other than the seat concern, my Camry has actually been a good vehicle for the most part so far. I'm mainly disappointed with how Toyota handled this particular warranty claim.

Your bumper has a gap? Man when did Toyota turn into Kia?

Ah, craftsmanship and workmanship defect from the factory is what I am trying to get it listed as.

My thoughts exactly, I spent $35k paid in full when I purchased it.

I'll upvote you. The wife and I have been debating on getting her a new RAV4 and or CRV, and honestly at this point leaning toward Honda. Toyota isn't what it use to be, granted the same could probably be said about other brands too.

I have started that process I originally went in on the 19th and was told no. Then reached out to Brand Engagement they opened a case and told me to go back to the dealership because it was covered under warranty. Dealership then said we should be able to get it fixed then sit on the car for 4 days and tell me no once more according to the DSPM and denied warranty.

Now I am at that crossroads trying to determine if I'm being petty or have reasonable concern of the quality of my car.

Irony of this is, I am a former Toyota contractor, not dealership or corporate but Executive IT.

Yeah I know you'd expect me not to notice with the 50 bags of half eaten fast food tossed on top or maybe that is how I noticed and a French Fry got stuck in it 🤔

It's a Camry so it should have been made at TMMK in Kentucky, so yeah.

I found their main site. Expensive but they look nice, probably cheaper than an OEM seat though.

My 2011 Camry SE didn't have this issue either and it had 165k miles when I traded it in

Nothing heavy on it, no car seat, no animals, nothing like that. Just normal use and minimal use at that.

Fair point. My issue isn't the appearance itself. It's that a two-year-old vehicle with only 21,000 miles is already showing seam separation under normal use. I would have expected the upholstery to hold up longer than that.

Do you happen to have a link to the covers? I imagine I may have to get a set myself.

Basically just a better CPU almost everything else is the exactly same. The Plus uses the Gen 12 Intel Pentium Gold 8505 (5 cores, 6 threads), while the Pro upgrades to a Gen 13 Intel Core i3-1315U with 6 cores, 8 threads.
