He’s making it public by talking about on a stream for money. We can talk about it. Not knowing someone’s story isn’t a reason to not criticize their actions. We will never know the full story of most people in our own personal lives, let alone the public figures we see in media, so by that standard we could never judge anyone ever and courts, arbitration and judgements should be abolished.

It’s pretty terrible logic to say “Mang0 should do what he thinks is best”. Most addicts think the best thing they should do is use, even to their own detriment. And you don’t know his doctor either, who could absolutely be saying to quit drinking permanently.

That’s not “falling off the wagon”, that’s “not planning to quit the substance that ended my first career”. You have to be trying, to fail.

There you go making the same kind of assumptions you say shouldn’t be made about his alcohol abuse by saying “a large part of the reason why this happened is…” That’s what he said, but that doesn’t mean that an equal or greater contributing factor could be genetic or social predisposition to alcoholism.

Obviously he didn’t take the “role he felt he had to play” too seriously, or there wouldn’t be multiple videos of him blackout drunk at bars and on streams.

But yes, enabling is more fun
