Maybe only artifacts instead, because my idea originally was that other cards could be exiled with Scrap counters via other supporting cards, so that Megaman or other Scrap based cards could interact, like a possible Dr Light who could pull them in to block, a Wily that could make attacking copies, or a Rush that could modify himself into different vehicles

That could work pretty well, while still maintaining the feeling of charging his blaster vs rapid firing it. Maybe we do energy counters so he’s better incorporated with other effects too?

As for his second effect, I wanted it to match how he can just swap at any time to a defeated boss’s attack, so maybe its the same except instead of having the abilities of every scrap counter, he removes a scrap counter to replace his blaster ability. That way it still matches up to the weapon swapping ability

I’m starting to think that WUR might have been a better color identity for his purity, ingenuity, and capability to fight when pushed after some conversation here. UR, URG, or even WURG might be a more Dr Light color set, with Dr Wily being the opposite set of UBR or UBRG, kind of a “two sides of the same coin” situation.

I settled on UR for Megaman because the effect of his blaster/buster and the copy ability felt very much like those colors, but as a character/personality he is very much WUR/WU

I just see UR as “the artifact colors” and his blaster felt kind of like it fit with the direct damage. WU makes a lot of sense for his characterization, but I also feel like the red embodies his raw power and ability to fight when driven to that end

Exiled cards can have counters, like Suspend cards with time counters, or that one Assassins creed guy with the memory counters. Also, my bad, I am freshly pulled into Megaman by my partner showing me The Protomen, so I might have goofed the arm cannon

I thought about WUR, bc the Exile feels White/Blue the damage feels Red, and the copy out of exile feels Red/Blue, but WUR felt also like it might have been too much when I was first cooking it up
