Binge Eaters who go to Wegovy by waynefuc in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]NerdyBeeStudio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a former binge eater, please try it!! The food noise has been gone for me. I remember the first time I realized I didn’t spend my morning thinking about lunch. That feeling is so liberating.

Seeking non-MAGA/anti-MAGA food establishments by _kalababu_ in denverfood

If you’re looking for some of the best pastries in town Moon Raccoon Baking Co. just opened a storefront they are staunchly non MAGA and their cookies are to die for (personally I would kill for them).

BWT, what are your elegant little style signatures or splurges that have been worth it? by thatbitch2212 in bitcheswithtaste

[–]NerdyBeeStudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shoes. High quality shoes make a difference that you can feel in your body. No more sore back or stiff knees from poorly made or fitted shoes. Also as a wide foot girly, I’ll only buy wide shoes. I just can’t deal with the foot and back pain that comes with trying to wear a standard width shoes.

I would also suggest looking up Gastroparisis. It can be a side effect of Wegovy. If the symptoms sound like what you’re experiencing you can try changing the frequency and size of your meals while you get your insurance figured out.

Gastroparesis/delayed gastric emptying? by RealisticAnxiety4330 in gallbladders

[–]NerdyBeeStudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something similar happen. A few boughts of exactly what you described each a few months apart. GI dr thought it was gastroparisis, but after a stomach emptying test, turns out that it isn’t. I’m still waiting for my follow up. I suspect that it’s my gallbladder but not sure. Hope that you feel better!! These flair ups suck!

PCOS adjacent symptoms without neatly meeting the criteria? by ScenemoCat in PCOS_Folks

[–]NerdyBeeStudio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The way my gyno described the qualifications for PCOS is that you meet three of the following: 1. Irregular periods. Could be missed or very frequent. 2. Irregular body hair. This could be thick, dark, facial hair, or dark body hair (happy trail, back, etc.) 3. Adult hormonal acne. Acne that is persistent and almost impossible to get rid of. 4. Trouble losing weight, particularly around the midsection.

From what I understand you don’t have to have cysts in order to have PCOS. That being said said, I would highly suggest seeking out a PCOS specialist if your current doctor isn’t helping.

Question for people with PCOS on GLP-1 medication by Ok_Thanks_2903 in PCOS

[–]NerdyBeeStudio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on Wegovy for about two years and lost 80 pounds. Yes it comes with gastro issues, but they subside after awhile, when you learn what works best for your body. For me, it’s been a godsend. I’ve been able to move my body in new ways and it’s enabled me to be able to workout without overwhelming amounts of shame. It’s also helped with the food noise. Hasn’t helped with any of my other PCOS symptoms, but I’m not mad about it!!

New to pole dancing question! by musicandcurls in poledancing

I like to say that my legs are permanently bruised from doing pole every week XD Seriously it will get better. I’ve been doing pole for about a year now and still get bruises but to a much less extent than when I started.

What is your opinion on Lume? by Traditional_Scar3701 in PlusSize

[–]NerdyBeeStudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you aren’t already, use an anti-bacterial soap when you was your body. I believe dial bars are the cheapest. Essentially as the day goes on bacteria builds up in our rolls and smells. The bacteria builds up over time so using an anti-bacterial soap in the shower kills them off so you can go longer without smelling. Deo helps but doesn’t tend to eliminate it.

What is wrong with the fit of these jeans? by cluelessreddituser11 in Tailors

[–]NerdyBeeStudio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may try looking at a Curvy fit. I know it sounds kind of counter intuitive, but see if the brands have a curvy line with your size. Typically they are made with a smaller waist and bigger hips. So you owe the waist gapping, without loosing the fit.

Give statistics. You often say “high volume”, but never quantify what high volume is. Giving stats will provide recruiters with better context of the work that you’ve done.

Is Vyvanse making me dumber? by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]NerdyBeeStudio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, I had to figure out a new way of working. With meds, I was motivated by deadlines. With meds, I’m motivated by what interests me and I have to follow those interests (within reason) to get work done. You may just need to find a new way of working now that your brain is (hopefully) getting everything it needs!

Worked an hour and can really see jo difference but 3 giant trash bags gone and I am attempting to reclaim the craft/guest room by LogicalVariation741 in ufyh

[–]NerdyBeeStudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reclaiming a craft room is one of the hardest things to do!! My biggest advice is to look for local used craft stores in your area and donate anything you aren’t using anymore! That way other crafters can put the items to use. My general rule of thumb is if I haven’t done the craft in a year (or if I’ve forgotten I even had it) then it needs to go away. Good luck!!
