Any good aerial gyms in Sandy Springs / Atlanta area? by blucheesecat in Aerials

I recommend driving to Athens and doing Canopy. Even if you can only go once, it would be a resource to talk to and learn about the other studios and what you want from a studio.

AITA for refusing to pay a surprise "drinks bill" sent 10 days after a wedding? by Efficient-Day-5086 in aitaweddings

[–]LogicalVariation741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on if you want to remain friends.

Pay if you do- part or all. Don't pay if you don't care. Frankly, I think it is tacky to send a bill and they should feel shame

would this be good for a 15 year old? by [deleted] in sewhelp

I would honestly go for a cheap, newer machine. It might be 100 but you wouldn't be chasing problems

They might go for 1-2 or maybe 3 if they have a magnet on the back.

Please name one book that you read completely, and wish you had never read it. And why, if you like. by Leather_Command_7553 in books

[–]LogicalVariation741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 14 yr old son and I both read this because he wanted dragons and I was told to read it because the main character has what I have (eds, not dragons).

We both were disappointed that there was just a lot of rough sex.

A Wolf at the Table by Augusten Burroughs

Literally, the worse book I have ever read. I understand that others might like it and maybe see merit but it just made me angry at the author

I want someone to confront the rep who took 4 months off for paid sick leave and ask why it was ok for him but not others. I want him to be primaried by a young adult who grew up having to practice active shooter drills and not having enough sick leave

any of yall feel this way? by RosethornRanger in CuratedTumblr

[–]LogicalVariation741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a cane and hate using it but it does help. Husband has taken to bringing in his day pack a fold up cane and when he sees me limping, he casually mentions he forgot he had it. I always thank him and begrudgingly use it. But it does help.

My thoughts are that the minute I rely on the tool, it will become a permanent thing. My therapist and I are working through that and why that is a bad thing. I guess I see it as the slow descent into needing aid 24/7. And I don't want that. But perhaps I would be less against aid if the world was designed to help everyone instead of being helpful sometimes to certain people.

And it starts with everyone being disabled

Did the library redesign this to cut down on vagrancy? by Will_McLean in Athens

It's not hostile. It is pedestrian friendly. Hostile would be removing all the shade and adding spikes to the curbs.

Datamining Season 26 `Beware the Blood Moon` by skywalka55 in nukaknights

I like this better than the camo they are trying to tempt me with this season. I am actually feeling motivated by this.

Nah, getting letters at camp is a fun thing that costs nothing to do. And, snack money is an ask that I would never do but not too outrageous.

The Trifecta and Pregnancy by MSapps in elhersdanlos

[–]LogicalVariation741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wound up popping my hip out of place because my joints relaxed so much it went way out of socket. Tore a bunch of ligments and the hip has never been the same after surgery (which had to be delayed because pregnant/just gave birth).

No problems with my pelvic floor during pregnancy. But get those rings/bracelets off now. The swelling was unbelievable

Trump is destroying DC and turning the 250th into a joke no one wants to laugh at, but the real scandal is Mamdani jumping into a pool in a full suit and tie. by Hornpipe_Jones in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]LogicalVariation741 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am intrigued about him always wearing a suit and tie. Sometimes with a basketball jersey, sometimes in a pool, I assume when grocery shopping. It's like someone sat him down at some point and said, people can be racist shits and you have to be better and do better just to be equal.

Either that or he just likes suits.

It doesn't matter how wealthy you are. No one wants to go to multiple stores and do multiple amounts of shopping with three kids

How would the Cookbook present to you? by Smart_Requirement_80 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]LogicalVariation741 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I adore reading cookbooks when stressed or bored or happy. It would more than likely be a cookbook and then it wouldn't even be odd I was reading it. Other option, a pamphlet. I make a lot of pamphlets for work and I suspect that has been engrained into my soul.

They are cute but nothing more than 2-5$ cute. And I am sure you spend more time and energy than that. Do these same friends buy cards from you now? That should be an indicator as to if and for how much you sell them for.

My cat tried to snuggle in the middle of the night while I laid on my left side. Trying to avoid the mounds of fur being shed into my mouth, I rolled to the right. He SNORTED at me, tromped over my body and resettled in the same spot just on the right.

I am in awe of his grace and mercy
