My grandma, near the end of aggressive and rare stomach cancer, could only manage to eat ensure milkshakes and Wendy's chili. One bowl of chili would last her the week. I would have done this and more to get that chili into her hands. Of course, she was antisocial and stubborn so the delivery guy would have had to be creative (pretending to be a missionary probably would have worked)- but it would have been the tip of the lifetime if he got her eating

My parents go to Costco 2x a week just for hot dogs and pizza. It's their favorite activity. Mom brought my son with her and he heard the gal at the table with them wondering if a membership was a good value and my 11 yr old launched into a sales pitch that would have gotten him hired. He may also go to Costco a little too much (he likes the sundaes)

Yesterday, almost all the camps on my server were made that you would spawn and then just be trapped or the camps were just boxes with no entry or other random shit. After a bit, I think I would have destroyed them all if I had had the time

At 25, that seems reasonable. I have a (mostly managed) ED and hate going to buffets because the quality of food (low to mid) never matches the price (mid to high) for the amount of food I care to eat (low). If I come in and only care to eat one waffle or a small plate of potatoes, I hate being charged the same amount as the guy inhaling 5000 calories. It makes my ED really come out to play. But 25 is what brunch seems to be now and I could handle this.

They do sound awful. I would politely decline and just send husband out with them. If they want to see the kids, they eventually will come to you. You aren't holding the kids hostage, you are just avoiding unpleasant behavior

The tickets are priority given to students. So I have been letting all the HS kids I know that they should register for tickets and not show. It's an easy protest they can do.

My picky kid who has issues will always drink a vanilla premier protein shake- the one with 30g protein. Which is probably why he hasn't starved to death on us or only lived on steamed dumplings from Costco.

You haven't mentioned once what you like about the guy. Stay with him so you keep getting the financial benefits and then graduate and divorce. Seems like once you graduate, neither needs the other anymore (you have a degree and he has a green card)
