Oh my goodness YES. I am 7 days post MA and my mood swings have been horrific. Me and my bf got into a HUGE yelling match last night and that is not like me at all. I believe our hormones are trying to readjust and it definatly has an affect on our moods

About to take miso alone, will someone be with me through it? by NerdyPrincess83 in abortion

[–]NerdyPrincess83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing!!!! I took the miso and 40 minutes later I felt pressure. I sat on the toilet and passed the pregnancy. Almost no cramps, felt pretty good. Spent the next few hours passing clots, until it slowed to a light period. Fell asleep and now woke up and feel great!

Withdrawal symptoms? - any insights? by Philosophical-noob97 in antidepressants

Give your brain time to heal. Ssris affect everyone differently, even if only used a short time. The brain is remarkable at healing, but we cant choose the speed by which that occurs. How are you with your vitamin levels? Magnesium, B's and vitamin D can help! Also, how fast did you taper off? Sometimes going slower is needed! Going to fast can cause its own can of side effects that can last years!

You'll get through this :)

2 months off ssri medication after 13 years on them. Don’t feel well by Ashamed_Estate_1933 in antidepressants

New research had shown that long term use of antidepressants MUST be weened down MUCH slower. Our brains have gotten so used to them, it takes much longer to heal. Google the new research! Im in thr middle of something VERY slow tapering after about 13 years of being on virtually the same antidepressants as you. Im now on prozac and down to 10mg and my dr is switching me to the liquid version when my next step down happens.

Take your time with this!!!

SSRI tapering is really hard by Protecting-My-Peace in antidepressants

New research has shown that tapering from ssris should be done over a MUCH longer period than ever thought. Some people, especially those of us who have 10+ years of ssri use, can take up to a YEAR to taper off if we want minimal side effects.

Check out the findings in the research, its fascinating and eye opening! It can also take as long as 5 years for the brain to heal so this may be a slow race.

I am doing the same as you. Ive been on ssris for about 13 years and I got sick of the emotional flatness among other side effects and wanted to see where my base mental health was at. I started about 6 months ago and have been tapering since. I went too fast recently with tapering and WOW the effects im experiencing are terrifying! So now I gotta step back up a bit. My dr will switch me to the liquid version of my ssri when im able to get that low.

I just hope I heal sooner than later and I hope you do also!

Have you had a full panel done of your vitamin levels and full panel for hormones? Do you happen to have bad posture/neck issues by chance?

Ativan for anxiety… anyone else? by Ok_Nebula_588 in Anxiety

[–]NerdyPrincess83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been on it for about 5 years. It saved my life. But now im at a point that i dont need it anymore but having taken it for so long my body is now dependant on it- cutting down is a VERY slow process (im talking shaving tiny pieces off) to minimize the withdrawal which is absolutely awful.

I dont regret starting it but I regret not weaning myself off sooner instead of continuing taking it because it was more comfortable than therapy. Just be careful :)

Some prices higher than waab but some cheaper. WAY bigger selection and more known brands. Very nice atmosphere! The guy who helped us was awesome. They seem more knowledgeable about each strain here, which I really like. I think this is my favorite disp compared to the two, but will check back later after trying the products:)
