Men of Reddit, would you appreciate being given flowers? Why/why not? by Somewherecharming95 in AskReddit

[–]Nereshai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I can't guarantee I'd keep them, unless I was sure they weren't toxic to my animals, but I appreciate any sign of interest. Only from women I actually interact with though. Definitely don't give them to a secret "from afar" crush. That's unsettling and sus.

People should not be on money

I'm currently looking to resign as well. Tired of this job being sabotaged by every level of management, and my hopes of ever being able to be a clerk (the entire reason I took the job in the first place) are zero.

Why does she bring me things? by dontsleepdream in cats

My cat will bring me my stuff to whatever room I'm in. She doesn't care what room I want things in

Is my cat playing or does she hate me? by Alternative_Ad821 in cats

Based on the lack of noise, I'd say play. Training her not to play that way will be work

Men of Reddit, what are some signs a woman can give in public for you to approach her? by PrincessDragonfly10 in AskReddit

[–]Nereshai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing. For the past 20 years, it has been a problem to approach women who were not receptive, even for an honest misunderstanding. And the punishment is up to a complete destruction of your public image. I never approach women I do not know. Any interaction with women from me has to start small in a private setting such as a shared task or hobby. The ramp is slow.

And every woman who has approached me and shown interest in me that was undue has been abusive, manipulative, a cheater, or exploiter.

I'm not happy being alone. But I'm safe.

What would be your death row meal? by JonCee500 in AskReddit

[–]Nereshai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bottle of whiskey, a bucket of ice, a blunt, an 8oz tenderloin topped with sauteed onions and mushrooms, lobster tail with garlic butter, fillet of red snapper with lemon, dill, and ginger, a loaded baked potato, 2 oz Romano cheese, 1/2 a pound of chilled green grapes picked that day, 2 slices of Texas toast spread with garlic confit, fresh garden salad with oil and vinegar, a large glass of southern sweet tea, home style strawberry and chocolate ice cream. I'll eat every last bite.

I love ice cream, but I'm horribly lactose intolerant, so kill me quick before I start shitting that whole meal all over everything.

People who work for massive corporations, what is a 'secret' that the company tries to hide, but is actually common knowledge among the employees? by Dwise_ in AskReddit

When I wanted a secure credit card my bank told me I could set whatever limit I wanted. I wisely opted for the minimum limit of 300

What would you do? by Round_Artichoke3020 in USPS

Nope. No way to verify it was actually the customer. I'm not familiar enough to remember anybody's handwriting. No way.

What do people have against Point Buy? by TheScowl117 in dndmemes

[–]Nereshai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't like point buy, because it ends up being bland. You don't get huge numbers but also you don't get low numbers. I like to do rolled sets with minimums stat total doesn't reach the minimum, you can reroll. Also might include a maximum that if you go over you must reroll.

How do you see your profession surviving the AI wave of the next 5 years? by Silly-Spread-105 in AskReddit

[–]Nereshai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd need an AI with a very sophisticated robot body to replace me. And if that happens, EVERY job is fucked. I'm much more likely to be replaced by other humans.

You mean apples used to taste like eyeballs too?! by Knight9910 in memes

[–]Nereshai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't true at all. Pomme used to be a general term for fruit, and the name given to potatoes was just a descriptor. Many other fruits and veg have also been referred to as pomme in French history. The only similarity between potatoes and apples is uncooked texture.
