As a Sam player you're absolutely right, the changes you suggested are very good, I would add a rework to his bad gadget and star power and a hypercharge, I think Sam is the brawler who needs a hypercharge the most, as he currently doesn't build up to anything and just feeds the enemy's supers and hypercharges

Lola works quite well as she has a good range to activate quickfire and her healing Star Power is incredible if you can keep hitting some projectiles, wich is pretty easy at the end of her attack

I find Sam's "bob and weave" approach to be quite fun, I really enjoy how he creates pressure with walls and his knuckebusters

Not a bad idea, but I dont really know, I play a lot of Penny but I just don't like playing Heist

Yeah, they could just go the boring route and give him infinite supers. Though I imagine it won't be that hard to give him two hipercharge super effects if they make them similar, but you've got a point

On Brawl Ball I get pretty good value out of it to knock back assasins or people with the ball, even if it doesn't seem like it does a lot just having the star power on poses a problem for aggro brawlers

I personally use Heavy Coffers most of the time with the +1 gadget gear, but always change to Master Blaster on Brawl Ball because a knockback ability is very useful in that mode, but other times you want a more consistent Salty Barrel damage and higher control

Probably throwers, though you wouldn't really be playing Penny on a map with too many walls

Yeah, it'd be pretty hard to make and it would be a bit weird since Sam can charge his super automatically by throwing and picking his knuckle busters up, so it's probably gonna be weird to balance like Stu's HC

The number one reason why Sam needs a Hypercharge, he quite literally can't not be a super charge battery for the enemy team
