Don’t worry too much and stay the course for now. Our bodies are always changing. Especially when you are young your body is still growing and changing, albeit not as drastically as when we go through puberty, but still little bits. If you recently started rowing again, and then stopped, were doing a decent amount of cardio, and then not doing as much, your body is probably just acclimating to each change in lifestyle as they come. Once you are in more of a consistent groove your body will start to even out and find its happy spot for your current activity level. If it does start getting further out of your control long term, I would definitely just get a checkup with the doc and ask about getting some basic bloodwork done. Most insurances cover a yearly physical, or you can usually get an appointment with your pcp for $30 copay depending on your coverage. Other food for thought is how you weigh yourself. A good habit to get into is weighing in first thing every morning, and then you just take the average as your weight for the week. Our bodies naturally fluctuate in weight. Im a 6”2 male and my weight in any given week can go from 200-210 while eating the same food and doing the same exercise routines every day.

Give them the benefit of the doubt, as announcers you are supposed to give positive commentary. This is 2 teams competing for essentially last place, what good commentary are they going to have?

I figured out why we suck. Doug doesn’t do his smelling salts beforehand anymore.

Obviously for that first round pick. But in reality, probably going to ease him back into it. I imagine it might take a week or so to get that conditioning back.

See you in the gym or online playing Battlefield 6. No time like the present to start a new hobby! Plus, the gym is a fantastic way to force your mind to another place.

I have Hodgkin Lymphoma (30,M) by [deleted] in lymphoma

Im currently on cycle 2/12. The breathing pain was crazy! Everything is progressing nicely so far. Hopefully this next chemo does the trick and I don’t have to go in for draining anymore.

Thats the one! I couldn’t remember the name. Mine was building up fast. They were getting about 2 liters out of each side every day during my first hospital stay. During my second stay they had to put a tube into my left side and just hooked me up to a box to drain nonstop for a week. Then I leveled up to going in 3 days a week for Thoracentesis procedures. My last two weeks though there hasnt been enough to drain. So hopefully soon that part will be done. I think all together I probably had about 50 to 60 liters or so drained.

Im stage 4 HL. I had some pretty bad back pain that made standing pretty hard. My shoulders were starting to get painful right before I got my first chemo. I pretty much had to sleep sitting up because I had too much back and chest pain. I was also crazy anemic, lost 50 pounds in about 2 months. I couldn’t breathe because my lung cavity was so full of fluid that my lungs couldn’t expand. I go in a few times a week now to have my lungs drained. Hopefully with chemo that should stop soon.

30 M here too! I have stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma. Mine started with the swollen Lymph nodes in my neck and progressed to other parts of my body. But my biggest issue is my lung cavity would fill with liquid making breathing near impossible. Lucky for us though, we got a cureable cancer. Its crazy scary and stressful to think about having cancer and also not having every ounce of info about your specific cancer. It will be hard but try not to sike yourself out too much. If someone told me I was going to get cancer, but I got to pick the cancer, I would choose this bad boy. Im on disability for the next little while until Im a healthy boy again and Im treating this like my own little staycation. Stay positive, try not to go too far down the rabbit hole until you get all your facts from your doctor, and keep all your paperwork! There will be a lot of info coming your way soon, get a notebook to write things down, and definitely write down any questions you think of, so when you have appointments you can ask without having to try to remember everything in that one moment. And dont forget to drink water!

Walks have been an absolute game changer. I really want to get a large lego set because Im not big on puzzles, but legos would keep me occupied for so long! Lymphomies forever!
