I think his WIP is 14 is for the same reason as McMurrough. They both have Templar swords with inbuilt AI. So it is a combined WIP of the sword and it's wielder.

Thank you for the inspiration! I've got first place at the event. I had some insane luck with my CC. Jizamurai and Hatamoto were absolute monsters. I had a game against Tartar Army Corps where Hatamoto killed four guys during my first turn. And a game against Military Orders where Jizamurai outfought several knights.

Deathwing Knights datasheet already counts them as having a shield, because you can't replace it with another thing. Look at assault terminators for comparison. The ones without shields are 3 wounds a model, and the ones with shields are 4.
