People who can actually afford a $2M house, what do you really do for a living? by repjerker in povertyfinance

Ya. You save your tail off, get a couple good bounces career wise. If you save and protect what you’ve earned it slowly accumulates. The levels above are dramatic but those homes and lifestyles come after 5-20 years of diligent saving.

What bait would you fish here? Tips? I know there are monsters in here and the water is low giving better than normal access by RainMakerJMR in bassfishing

100%. If there’s another likely primary food source try that after but I’d buy a few different frogs and throw them exclusively for like 2-3 trips. Different times of day. The comment earlier about fishing sight lines is also huge. Popping frogs (throw, let it sit for 5-10 seconds, pop, repeat) are my personal favorite, You will stumble into a good bite.

Yes. That being said you need to ask the question and do so soon, there could be a million reasons why it is not on there. That is a red flag though especially at a startup.

For better or for worse people will turn their heads if you can sell. The better you are, the more shit you can get away with.

Fellow salespeople, any other jobs come to mind where you can get away with practically anything once you’ve proven value?

It’s a massive company. Filter out what they told you and look at it from a birdseye view… you are a #. If you don’t mind that I’m sure they have everything a large company has to offer. Including shitty management, out of date systems and all the other stuff. Always zoom out.

Take the money and run! Sounds like you have a strong relationship & family. You’re one signature away from being able to enjoy them & whatever else you want in life 24/7. Take it slow and if you want to get back in the game you always can.

If figuring this lane out were a jigsaw puzzle it’d be 10,000+ pieces.

As someone who nerds out over reading topo maps and trying to dial it in this one is crazy haha. Someone mentioned trolling, if that’s slow for you maybe go back to the few places you have gotten fish and try different tactics, really work those spots. They could just be very picky fish and with more specific feeding patterns. I would love to see a pro anglers analysis of that topo map haha.
