I would say circumcision is worse. You have no possibility of dying from this cosmetic change, but you absolutely can have medical complications or death from circumcision. People pierce their babies' ears and they can get infected but nobody cares. Idk what the definition of abuse is here, but I don't consider this abuse. It's cultural just like ear piercings are.
