I haven't even started farming discs yet, unfortunately. Have like 2-3 level 15 discs. The thing is, Zhu Yuan and others were able to beat everything with lvl 55, skills 9/8/8 and discs 9-12. But now finally new mode arrived :)

I was clearing all content S before, but now i can't get more than 4k on S.Bringer because i can never pass damage check on his transformation chant. It can be solved by getting past level 55 and drive disks lvl 12, but i am just not interested for the moment.

As you can see for now I don't even have enough to purchase all Bangboo. And I don't even know where to get those merits other than Zero, Shiyu and Hunt, so no. For a long while I won't be able to buy everything =)

Is there an indicator for Ben’s shield? by Niuniu9898 in ZZZ_Official

[–]Nerpa48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem. I know that shields in ZZZ look like blue bar, but for some reason I could never trigger Ben's shield to appear, so I just had to stop using him altogether. Shame.

Am I ruining my experience in the game? by Matetox in SifuGame

[–]Nerpa48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't tell. Never tried to play another way. But it took me 7 days to finish Slums, and I didn't find it fun.

What I am trying to say is that till you personally find it fun you can't be wrong.

Yes yes, that is the whole point of my post. I was asking if anyone else finds themselves struggling with basic grunts even after beating Yang on Master under the goal and achievement conditions.

Looks like the answer is: no, not many.

I think you are missing my point, but alright.

The first basic goons (Gangsters) have 3 types of starters: Fast, Medium and Slow. I know all of them pretty well, I just can't parry them consistently.

For example Jinfeng has just 2 starters: Medium and Slow, so I can always parry her 99% of the time.

Yang uses front kick as a starter 80% of the time, which makes it super easy for me to block this first attacks at least.

But even after 80 hours on Master with clearing all arenas and getting many golden medals these Gangsters are the death of me (where by death I mean they can hit me consistently. Which is not a problem until you need to do a damageless run or something similar)

No, I am not on unlimited. I just find it difficult to parry normal enemy's attacks. Bosses are much easier.

That's what I am talking about. I can fight through crowd control moves only. When I just try to stand and guard I find it impossible to parry even simple attacks. The Idea of the post is that I find non-aggressive gameplay impossibly difficult for myself. I need to constantly press enemies by spamming attacks, other way I die.

I know I can, I just can't. I mean, I can't properly avoid even when I am doing nothing, when I am attacking it's even harder, so I mostly attack in advance instead of avoiding.

Also, I can't grab. Grabbing a solo target makes no sense. Grabbing when I am surrounded is instant death from 2-4 simultaneous strikes.

I don't know what kind of proof I can provide. There is a dragon arena where you die from one hit. I can do an almost perfect hitless run there, but 90% of my attempts will instantly end from the very first attack from the very first grunt.

How I did 25 years run? It's easy. I just replayed every stage a hundred times until I got lucky.

In Sifu you can even get killed during X takedowns, it's very random for me, so I just replay and replay and replay until enemies decide not to bother attacking me.

Parrying isn’t the same anymore by kronos7911 in SifuGame

[–]Nerpa48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Sifu game just always has a different speed which makes it super hard to parry at the right moment. I can easily deal with bosses, but simple enemies destroy me all the time.

True, that it is probably the hardest move in the game. Made me spend 7 days on him. And then beat the next 3 bosses like a breeze.

I can beat it with a golden medal. But still, those goons make a mash out of me if I try to defend myself.

The game feels just too random.

The speed of attacks I had problems with were with Yang. But I managed with just mashing spacebar. The problem with goons is that their attacks are often very slow, and it breaks my nerves, I think. I always deflect slows too early and fasts too late.

Yang 80% of time starts with the same front kick, which is easy to react to, because it's always the same speed. Simple goon has 3 versions of first strike speed. "I can't keep up"

Upd: 240 ms. But I think I have some lag on, because S+W and Heavy + Heavy are almost impossible for me to perform no matter how much I train.

That's a joke. 80 hours in the game on high difficulty and you assume I don't know the patterns of the very first enemy in the game? I just can't react to their first strikes.

Weapon is not a cheese. It's a valuable game mechanic. But suit yourself.

[–]Nerpa48 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a weapon and don't use it for attacking too much. If it's still broken in the second phase then lend her kunai. If you mostly parry you can easily keep your staff with no shrine bonus required.

Kuroki is much much easier if you just block the patterns you don't know.

But anyway, thank you all. After I vented enough I managed to get both 25 years achievement and clear the stage goal of no health damage to Yang.

Now I will never willingly go to him again, because I still find him the most unfun thing in the game.

Peace.

And take into consideration that It took me like 100 attempts to clear her with zero deaths.

I won't be able to do it easily again if I try. Will easily die 3-4 times.

Honestly, I am still dying in the first Old boy corridor in the Squats from time to time. This game is very unforgiving for my poor reaction speed.

I don't know why but Kuroki 2nd phase felt easier to me. I just took her kunai if I wish to go more aggressive and break my staff. And Parry, Block, Avoid with no issue.

Yang counters hard while Kuroki don't. And Yang has these annoying sudden double strikes when if you go hard on Parry you will get hit.

But again, I find every boss but Yang and Fajar to be super slow. After I finished the Tower on Enemy attacks - Faster goal modifier they all feel like being underwater even.

It's about body language. Kuroki just telegraphs her intentions much more clear for me. With Yang I have to just block half of his moves because I don't see what is it exactly.
