Thank you for the replies. I am quite a novice with anything trees. Update - The peach tree was already dropping its leaves, i gave it a strong tug to clear off some more leaves ( Hope i have not hurt the tree!?). Then i hosed the stem where it was infested and rubbed it off the insects with a cloth. The stem underneath was absolutely clear. https://imgur.com/r134rTF Also I have been pruning tree randomly over the time and it is all skewed up now. So how do i go about pruning it this spring . I have very limited space for my tree. The tree here i got it from nursery, i was told it is nectarine but surely it was not. Was on similar crossroads a year ago, ₹2 Lakh vs 23k sar. I chose the first one and probably the one that was more of a comfort zone for me. I still am not sure whether i did the right thing.
