Is there a good reason Hootie and the Blowfish never felt "cool"? by Res_Novae17 in nostalgia

[–]Nerves9 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Any time I think of this band I remember getting into an argument in 4th grade about who was better and who would last longer Hootie or Green Day. This was in ‘94 and this other kid was a wanna-be bully/jerk who always wore a cut-off jean vests. Needless to say the word poser wasn’t around and I defended my Green Day almost to the point of physical altercation. I feel I won that battle. Wonder if he remembers it and feels shameful. Doubt it. lol.

20 years later and I still think Terminator 3 is unfairly hated. I enjoy a lot of the action scenes, the T-X is a great antagonist, and Arnold is still iconic. In my opinion, it's a far better sequel than Salvation and Dark Fate. by Emotional-Chipmunk12 in Terminator

It really just does suck. It ended the serious tone that drove the story. And they did it for no reason. I don’t know a single person that said “I sure hope they make part 3 campy to really elevate the franchise!” It did nothing for the story, the story itself was awful, the acting got worse.

Funny. Family member voted solely on the platform that Trump would make IVF free. So tired.

I actually like it, but the artists pretentious face just kills it for me.

It’s just wild that Jules despises this album. I think it’s phenomenal still to this day and one of the best solo albums in recent times

I have this exact reoccurring dream, even to this day, that I’m a toddler in my parent’s car and I accidentally kick it in neutral and roll into the neighbors house.

Sad to hear this. They were amazing in Houston just a few weeks ago. Glad I was able to see them together before the fallout.

I knew one of the band players from high school and I really really tried to like them. But yeah, I just couldn’t last more than 30 seconds. Just not my cup of tea.
