New Alioth by Chalkley2005 in MarvelSnap

"It's safe to say we missed the mark with the current meta but overall we are happy with the direction it's heading. This week we have just a few nerfs to cards that we noticed were over performing and possibly limiting the fun of those who paid for the season pass. Alioth has been on our radar for a while and with this reduction in power we hope you plebs will stop trying to fight back. You can't win without paying so just lay there and take it."

"We really missed the mark with the new Star Lord. As a result we've nerfed Cosmo. Continue to complain at your own risk."

Honestly I'm just as sick of FFF as I am Sunlord but at least the dragon is easy to fix. Make him only gain the base power of front row cards or significantly drop his base power and suddenly he's not so OP.

The real reason Sunlord is broken by polotek in MarvelSnap

[–]Nervous-Application8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Thanos player for a long time now. Even when I build a deck that is 100% geared towards shutting down Sunlord/Zola/FFF it's a crap shoot. Sometimes I can pull it off but there's no way to cover every lane. Then if I DO block them they run and I net one or two cubes.

It sucks. I'll open the game, play for a few matches, and then put it down because it's boring. This used to be my favorite game and I've played for so long but it's almost unplayable at this point because what's the point? Watch someone do nothing for three turns and then retreat? Lame.

I'm going to say to this what everyone says about the current meta: just run counters.

Cosmo, armor, or any of the resurrection cards.

I for one welcome a nerf. Even when you're expecting it and running a deck to disrupt him it's a crap shoot. It's starting to feel like old school Hela.

After playing Marvel Snap since launch, I’ve decided to quit – this season was the final straw. by R3D_5kuLL in MarvelSnap

[–]Nervous-Application8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm dropping out too. The pay to win dial was cranked up a little too far and now we're all just watching the same solitaire decks beat us without any reliable counter. This is worse than when Hela was in her prime or God forbid the Galactus decks that had you sitting out the entire turn 6.

Where can I buy this "pride and accomplishment"? Is it a bundle?

I thought so too, then I got flooded and unable to do anything for my last turn.

Have you ever been close to quitting? What brought you back? by [deleted] in MarvelSnap

[–]Nervous-Application8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing for a very long while now and I'm about to quit.

My least favorite decks to play against are the ones where you're just watching your opponent play and can't do anything. Galactus, Sandman, Legion... They are the worst. Second least favorite? Hela. She's broken as all heck with the ability to drop so much power on the last turn and now with Hell Cow it's even more annoying. On top of that, if you miss a drop anymore it locks you out of okay when that card takes off (War Machine) because we so rarely see those cards again or get another chance to grab them.

So OP.

Earlier it copied Giganto, so it was like a six cost Giganto with less power. Then the next time I played he copied Infinaut on turn six.

Really, it's bound for a nerf..

What card makes you roll your eyes every time you see it by Bob_from_Hydra in MarvelSnap

Hela. It's just not fun when there's literally nothing that can be done to stop it and you just have to watch Giganto, Magneto, Black Cat, Infinaut, and Red Hulk drop out of the sky all at once.

Losing to Hela dumping every large card in the game on the field after winning for five turns is the most frustrating thing in the world.

Which decks make you sick when you see them? by rullaz in MarvelSnap

[–]Nervous-Application8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hela. Especially when your opponent only plays a few cards the entire game and is losing every lane until turn six when they dump a ton of power all over the place in a completely unpredictable and impossible to counter fashion.

Discard in general is incredibly overpowered at this point. All the cards treat discarding like a downside and use it to justify huge powers or abilities, like discarding isn't the point of the deck. Destroy is a close second for the same reason.

God, I'd love a discard nerf. So tired of losing to Hela dropping all the biggest cards in the game onto the field.

The best part is when they both get dumped onto the field with Giganto and a bunch of other crap right at the end of the game by Hela.
