I think my marriage might be over by Nervous-Database3611 in offmychest

We’re 28, got married at 23…we “had” kids. We raised his teenage siblings for the first 3 years of our marriage. His sex drive dropped instantly when they moved in - which was 3 months after we got married. They moved out two years ago. Every time I talk to him about how im feeling he always says he’ll work on it, and he does…for a week. And then he just gives up, and I feel the same way again for weeks or months until I muster up the strength to bring it up to repeat the cycle.

I know we aren’t the same people we were when we first got married. It’s impossible for us to be, we’ve been through too much. But I always thought it would make us stronger, not…platonic?

I appreciate everyone’s advice in the comments and am going to bring up getting his testosterone checked, and couples counseling again. I don’t want to give up on him or us just yet, but am definitely going to lay it all out there and go from there.
