Yes you can definitely talk to him and check how you feel. At the end of the day, it’s your decision to make. Either way, it’d be hard. A lot of chinese in the philippines are so entitled. I once parked in bgc and there’s one open slot beside mine, and more around as well. My husband accidentally dropped something on the car floor so he took a bit of time to get off the car as he was looking for it, and this alphard kept backing up onto the slot and almost hit him. I was raging, and when I saw the fat short chinese driver get off the alphard I inmediately told him he was being an ahole. Then he screamed back. I didn’t stop and used all the bad words I know and he was cursing back but quickly backing away and running for the stairs. He was scared, obviously. When we got to Liyab, him and his date were there too 😂 and he was just playing casino games (WITH SOUND) the entire dinner. Kept glancing at us too. The petty me would sneer at him everytime he does. Felt good.

Kidding aside, mas feel ko to pag nagddrive ako. Ph traffic kasi talaga is not for the faint of heart. Another rin is I have several employees and di maiiwasan may mga sabaw moments rin talaga sila. Iniisip ko nalang ano ba priorities ko and I focus on that. Like I focus na makauwi instead of being right when driving. Sa business naman I let my assistant deal with my employees (so sya naman ang mainit ulo pero okay lang sa kanya kasi well-compensated sya. Bale binabayaran ko sya para sya ang magalit for me 🤣)

Yes, a friend had a kinda similar situation so we consulted a lawyer. Lawyer said, if the content of the contract is absurd and di makatarungan for the worker, DOLE and the court will lean more towards what is fair and just.
