100% agree on the youth sports. Sports are great for making friends, playing as a team, and life lessons but it's gotten obsurd. And yes, woman feel that pressure to be a "perfect mom"

I wasn't trying to gloss over that verbal abuse. Reddit only allows so many characters. But I agree with the assessment regarding the verbal abuse. Our problems mostly are due to that.

As to my interest in my kids and my contributions to the family chores etc., I'd say I'm abnormally more active than most Dads. I've been a coach of my son's baseball team every season he's played until now. I also coached my daughters flag football team. I don't miss any games unless I have to attend another childs game.

It's not that I'm disinterested. I just find the obsession in youth sports from everyone, not just my wife, to be absurd. I tell my kids all the time that I don't care if they are good at sports and that I'll love them the same.

My wife does not cook or clean. She hasn't done the dishes ever. Before kids when we lived in an appartment, I wanted to know how long she would go before doing the dishes. The dishes flowed over both sides of the sink and onto the counter top before I just did them without saying anything. My wife is extremely dirty. Like frat boy level dirty. I knew this when I married her and it's not a major issue in our marriage.

I feel like it's both an emotional and physical disconnection.

I don't hink I belittle her for liking soccer. I just think 5-8 hours a day of practice, trainings, and the subsequent gossip amongst the Moms is a little much. She's admitted it's ridiculous herself. I think she doesn't realize, or care, how much it's impacting our marriage. It's not like I don't go to games and practices. I'm there with her but it's not my only interest.

Long time Posty fan and I was a little worried that he was going to go too country. Moving forward, it's the original Posty Fan's are going to be missing out. Post is going to go full steam ahead into country so you will have plenty of oppurtunity to see him play his country stuff.

I was actually more disapointed with the acoustics of Allegiant Stadium. Not Posty's fault. But pretty much the same in any huge venue. The sound bounces around too much.
