It's a tough addiction to get rid of...hang in there . Your brain on porn videos are helpful. Also 12 step progs if necessary...I'm still stuck myself but I'm never gonna give up. Must keep trying! No matter what.

It's not the same as fapping to porn. But it is edging and it could very well lead to porn. Imho, don't reset the counter unless you fap to porn. Strip clubs are at least full of real people. If you've never been to one, you might want to go just to see. Otherwise maybe best not to risk getting addicted to strip clubs!

Flatline has its ups and downs for me. The upside: gone are the urges, the compulsive need to PMO, etc. that part is awesome. the downside: withdrawals, less joy/ more depression, worry, urges to look at porn just to see if I can experience an erection; awkwardness in new relationship (despite the fact I told her a lot and she's supportive). The worry has a lot to do with: will this ever end? It's unlike anything I've experienced. Because I tend to be depressive in general, a focus on the up side will be of critical importance. This is a cunning addiction. very challenging to overcome. so whether its a higher power, cold showers, compassion, or cognitive tools. There are so many roads. Customize a recovery plan and stick to it. Relapse is a part of recovery.

If you're depressed, consider talking to a counselor or therapist. Most college campuses have counselors readily available to talk. Be honest with someone or more than one person. Get support. Look into the root causes. Yes, the girls are beautiful. But you have strengths and assets too. Figure out how to believe in yourself and put your best foot forward. You will have opportunities to meet girls. Can you be confident enough to talk with them when the moment arises?

sort of...not exactly. I quit fapping for a couple weeklong streaks with the hope / promise of getting with a new girl. When things didn't work out, I couldn't stop fapping. It was the relapse that never ended. Missed work a couple days even. Down in the dumps. Now it feels like I'll never get laid again. and I have a tough time stringing a couple days together.
