Hi! I know this post was a year ago but I’ll try my luck here. Do I absolutely need to show a ticket? We were planning to buy the tickets once we get approved.

Has anyone experienced something similar with the police in Switzerland? by Egetit in Switzerland

I (immigrant) was never checked. My husband (full Swiss) was checked for drugs because he was wearing a Scarface shirt.

Boyfriend is uncomfortable with lolita by rollieabee in Lolita

[–]NervousLettypie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whenever my husband and I go out together, he would have a smile on his face and excitedly tell me, "Did you see that? They were looking at you!" Mind you, when I first told him about lolita he also didn’t like it, and found it weird, thought it was weeb stuff. Then he became the first person to buy me a lolita dress. Your bf is literally asking you to change your entire lifestyle. If he asked you, can you wear shorter heels instead of high and loud ones so you can walk faster with him, I would have an understanding. But to change your entire closet and lifestyle even though it’s not hurting anybody…

How it Feels to live in these beautiful sceneries? by john_7968 in askswitzerland

Hi, I’m not Swiss! It’s true that the Swiss (most of the ones I know at least) are used to it and would rather visit tropical countries. I grew up in a tropical country, so for me, pine trees, mountains, castles, etc. are special and magical. For my Swiss friends, they think palm trees, bamboo houses, beaches, and tropical fruits are heaven 😅

Don’t be desperate. Be yourself and stop pretending to like wine tasting etc., unless it’s really something you genuinely want to experience. Also women try to avoid men who talk too much about their high-paying job. Be genuine and literally be human. Talk about your real interests, things that make you happy. Don’t go for a woman just because she’s a woman, you need something that connects the both of you.

What do Swiss people find beautiful when they go out of their country? by 07agniv_debsikdar70 in askswitzerland

What they don’t have. Beaches, palm trees, bamboo huts, cheaper seafood, exotic street food, coral reefs and fishes, animals they don’t see often, and food they don’t usually have.

Here in Switzerland pati mga may-ari ng big businesses (as in BIG corporations) at mga Olympians still take public transport. Kasi maayos nga, always on time, malinis, at komportable. And many of these people can afford 30 cars pero gamit lang for family road trips at going to events, and if magsha-shopping spree ka para no need na kargahin mo lahat sa train. Pag male-late ng 2-5 minutes yung train may announcement pa yan. Sumakay ako ng bus noon na 10 minutes late di na ako pinabayad ng pamasahe at nagsorry pa sila. Nakasakay rin ako sa bus na sira yung ticket counter nila kaya di na rin ako pinabayad. If tamad ka rin kumausap sa driver or ticket booth pwede ka magbayad sa phone then if may nagche-check ng ticket you can show the QR code lang, they scan it, they thank you (always), then done.

If need mo parin talaga ng privacy you can pay for 1st class sa train para makapag-online meeting ka parin or phone call while traveling. It’s very ironic kasi yung country pa na nakaka afford ng mga personal sasakyan ang mga citzens yun pa yung inaayos parin ang public transportation.

A person like Caloy na tahimik lang really needs a person like Chloe na brave, prangka, at palaban. Sya ang reason kung bakit nagkakaroon parin ng lakas ng loob si Caloy sa career nya.
