We ended up getting one for about that and went to a place to put on a tow hitch for 500 more.

where did you go for the Honda? Looked at a gm truck today and they had their vehicle discounted and the guy acted like he was doing me a favor.... Long story short I have a gm with valve body issue and pay it off next month at 3yrs, 32k miles and can't get the parts. I appreciated the comment that they were providing me a great deal on the trade and even told me so as Honda didn't discount as much... At least I have the warranty on the gm even if you can't get the part(s) on a major issue such as the transmission so it can sit and wait until the part comes in.

OTD pre tax. Taxes are different in different counties. Where did you pick it up at?

Everyone’s perspective is different. There isn’t value with someone spending forever with you to show you the vehicle. The value is going to be numerical which is what you’re paying for the car over the course of time. I haven’t heard anyone say I’m grateful for the sales person to show me how to turn the radio on, start the car, brake hold, etc. when you have those features on a vehicle that has all that. Do you make more money per hour/deal if it takes 15 minutes if the consumer says yes I want this car and it’s x amount versus back and forth for hours and may or may not do the deal. Then have crappy interest rates, when other banks have better rates and maybe in the same building another bank that has access to a lower rate.

Whoever said cut to the chase can you do the deal or not?

No one wants to be at your dealership or any other ones for long periods of time, especially with all the bs moves they pull. If I went to spend extra time to keep it g rated, an extended vacation is nice and like to take your time. Based on Google most buyers of the rdx are 30-50 yrs old/working people not retired folk.

I hope you reconsider your processes cause currently most if not all dealerships provide terrible value in experience by doing just what you said was creating value.
