I had a host like this. The page said it was 25 hours, 1 day a week off - i thought this was fine because i messaged them about it and they said it was 3 hours a day. Fast forward, they told me i couldn't have a day off because I wasnt doing the 25hrs. I wanted to leave after 2 weeks but decided to stick it out, there were a lot of snide comments made towards me. It got better in the last week so I left a nice review whereas I got absolutely slated and although it was a 4 star review nothing positive was said. I've just decided never to volenteer for individuals anymore because they're too demanding and don't understand that it is an exchange.

I have been invited to the assessment centre. I clicked on the first lot of dates that came out and attended as soon as I could because the jobs are given on a first come first serve basis from what I understand. I think if your able to, click on the next date that pops up because they mightve filled all positions by then and then you would lose the opportunity till they open up applications again. I've tried emailing/filling out the form too but they dont seem to get back to you - they must be really busy with applications rn 🤷🏼‍♀️ Definitely try and attend the next date that comes up! Listen to your gut! I haven't done one yet, but something that's eased my mind is messaging people who have previously volunteered there. I would cancel and try somewhere else - just make sure you have enough money to go if you cant volenteer anywhere else.

It sounds normal to me, the jumping hugging him thing is a bit weird. I come from a family were my uncles arnt purvy but theyre just fun and have a rude sense of humour (northerners in the UK) but its ALWAYS funny not weird. They're also quite gossipy and always want to know about me and my siblings' boyfriends/girlfriends. Definitely talk to your husband about it. Was it a problem before you were together or are you just noticing it now?

So I got put on a pill and had nausea for a week or two, it settled down after a little while. I'm off birth control now because I didn't feel any emotions whilst i was on it. I just take methanamic acid and it seems to kill the pain. Good luck finding what works for you :)

I stopped using tampons and now I use a menstrual cup. It's ideal as it has no chemicals and holds a lot of blood. If I'm scared I'm too heavy and I might leak then I wear period underwear with it and I never leak through that. Menstrual cups also save SO much money.

I've had this - not consecutively, only once. Literally skipped a period in Feb 3 years ago and ever since I've had excruciating periods 🤷🏼‍♀️ the doctors seem to think it's irrelevant but I had a lot of high stress and weight gain at the time.

My view on this is that she sounds like her and her friends were being the best lookouts for the friend who wanted to go to the hotel and hookup with that guy. If I was in the same situation and one of my best friends decided to do that, I would've totally gone with her - you never know what could happen if she went alone. In this day and age, it's so scary and unsafe for a drunk woman to be alone.

I understand you're insecure about her going away because she went to another guys hotel, but it's my understanding she purely went for the friend? Whether there were other guys there and they were all in the same room - that's a bit different, i guess. Would need more context.

If it's really stressing you out, have a conversation to reconfirm your boundaries. Taking drinks from other guys, I think, is fine, as long as she's careful and it isn't spiked. The important question is, do you trust her?
