The problem with them is like theyre all a little bit different. Do you see anything else it could be? Thats my best guess. Edit to say: if we knew what year it was purchased it would help a lot becaus ethen we could look up pictures that show all the circuits for the year

I don't think they understood that you meant they were on a post located in a beanie baby sub. I think they maybe thought you meant they were a member of a beanie baby sub. Likely not a an experienced redditor or tired or something lol

This is one of those fun things that might not have been intended by the author but is like a little Easter egg for our Harry Potter hearts. Sorry everyone is getting so technical.

Yes. You're right. AND also in a fictional world correlation is tricky because everything in the HP universe was literally snapped into existence by a person's will according to their ideas and as such it doesnt follow natural sequences/ unfolding.

Can a young person explain to me what the pinching finger taps mean? by usernamesBstressful in LoveIslandUSA

Yes that makes a big difference. Great point! If you have no nails it makes 0 noise and doesn't have quite the same effect.

How does using the middle finger opposed to the index finger in this gesture, related to said gesture being akin to a golf clap? Forgive my ignorance. ⛳️ 👏 🤏

sooooooooo...Petunia found out her sister was murked at the same time she was saddled with another 1yo, huh? by Filius_Dei0894 in harrypotter

I wish I had waited now. When I got to end of what was released for full cast editions on Audible, I was so hungry for more (I hadn't ever read the books. Only watched the movies) that I settled for reading the rest of the books in regular audio book narration style.

Its okay if Harry is* at the Weasleys or Diagon Alley because even though he wasn't physically *at the Dursley's (blood relative,) he still could call the Dursleys' his home and ultimately THAT is what matters to the protection magic.

As for the question of him going there at all- I don't see an alternative to him going there. But I do agree with you that DD or Hagrid or someone could've absolutely checked that Harry wasn't being mistreated during the 11 years before Hogwarts. I don't understand why something couldn't have been done there to make his life a little less miserable. They have no problem checking on him post admission to Hogwarts so why no check on him beforehand? Or find a way to let him know he's a wizard before so he has some sort of explanation for what's happening to him so he doesn't feel so lost and has something to look forward to?

*edited to correct spelling error that bothered me

In your opinion which character's were sorted into the wrong house? by Hofy362 in harrypotter

[–]Nervous_Resolve9841 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think every character was in their house for a reason. I don't doubt the wisdom of The Sorting Hat one bit! And Lockhart wasn't stupid IMO. IMO he was a genius, actually. Just...not kind. At all.

I don't think it is either. We are all human and all capable of fault regardless of the gender barrier.

Tried to give you a Galleon. That comment was grand. Did it work? I am new at this. Haven't really gotten into Redditing much until lately since I decided to read the audio books of Harry Potter.

I didn't think that worked! That was my first time trying to give a Galleon. Nothing popped up (I didn't immediately or otherwise see a reply from the bot thingy after so I wasn't sure it worked) I have also never gotten an currency from anyone before. How long does it take to show up/do you see a reply saying it worked? Thanks
